And if the exceeded limit is over a certain level, you’ll be charged with an overlimit fee or something.

From what I know, the call to change my swipe of a large amount into installment with 0% only for PB and part of their promotion.

For maybank, either through Easy Payment which is swipe on the registered merchant or Easy Payment Plus which can be done through maybank2u portal with interest rate.

There are no other way to get 0% installment other than easy payment right? (Omit off the BT for now)

Or am I wrong? smile.gif

Thank you

Last weekend i clicked "increase credit limit" button in m2u n submitted last 2 months payslip. On Monday i received email and sms confirming the increase. Maybe it helped that my company banks in salary to my maybank a/c via Giro.

Kudos to Maybank for adding the feature to apply credit limit increase in m2u recently.

yes for PBB and MBB, as far as i know biggrin.gif

i guess you couldnt get PBB card(?) perhaps you can get other cards with similar benefits or just stick with MBB's for the time being, then later reapply PBB card (at least Quantum).

then ok la.

use/pair both cards smile.gif

e.g. use pbb to swipe large amount. call CS to convert to flexipay 0%.

if your pbb monthly statement a big high or need to improve cashflow, BT the statement amount to MBB 12mth 0%.
if not too high for pbb, just repay monthly as normal.

Haha yea. But the shop that I am swiping in is a registered merchant of easy payment. So I plan to swipe MBB while reserve the PB card as another alternative for other future instalments that can't get easy payment with.

Do you think is a good idea? Haha

If I swipe and use MBB for easy payment, I can still make BT from PB to MBB in near future?

if merchant accept mbb easy payment, then go for this.

yes, from mbb, you can also BT back to PBB, however just 6mth 0%. still good anyway.

so MBB allows BT from PB with 12 months 0% while PBB only allows 6 months 0%?

But then if i use MBB for easy payment this time, can i still able to BT from PB to MBB in near future?

of course can. up to your available CL lo. easypayment already reserved the full amount from your CL anyway.

simplified calculation assuming no spending at all, just easypayment.....

assuming CL RM5k. you purchase item RM2.4k with 12mth easypayment. monthly installment RM2.4k/12 = RM200.

bank actually reserved full amount of RM2.4k from your CL. so, your available CL is actually RM5k minus RM2.4k = RM2.6k.

the installment amount RM200 will be "dropped" into your statement each month.

each installment month, it will restore back the available CL, e.g. RM2.6k + RM200 = RM2.8k available CL.
