Sorry, my bad. That’s additional RM 40 off so that’s 1.07%

Is it worth it buying ip8 plus or samsung s8 plus? My major consideration is battery life and camera.only between these two phones. thanks
Two completely different ecosystems, iOS and Android. Have you used both systems before and which do you prefer? Because in my opinion both are equally good phones in terms of battery life and camera performance. If you’re neutral in that respect then if you could get the S8+ for around 2500-2800 then it’s a good deal. I wouldn’t pay RRP for the S8+ because S9 may be around the corner.
iPhone 8 Plus is super fragile due to glass back.. better don't save on getting a good case. (many fake UAG tho on the market make sure it's ori before buy)
Otterbox case also I heard they are good.
Both offer higher drop range if your phone ever accidentally dropped to to the ground.
Earlier I was using Spigen Liquid Armor Case but feel it's too thin for me... UAG one is wayyy better.
Urgh the FB synced contacts in the phone contact book is really annoying. still can't figure out how to remove until now. tried everything that found in google but seems no longer work on iOS11.
Have been using samsung s4 since 2013 until now 2 times battery changing and now the current battery only can spare for 2 hours.never used phone with built-in battery before. and of course never been in ios territory
For folks that are wondering if they should come iOS, please just do it. I came along way back from android, used too many of them, and none of them made me excited really. I had htc onex, galaxy s4, mi3, nexus 5x, note 8, huawei honor 6 plus, galaxy s7, huawei p9, Oneplus one, as you can see, it’s a pretty long list. Today with 8plus, battery life blows everything out of water , experience is awesome though subjective, camera wise, still preferred huawei though. Every other thing, it just works. Just my two cents.

its like comparing apples to oranges Its more or less the same with this two. Only S8 Dont have potrait mode. Furthermore different OS mang. If u like IOS go with 8+ But for less money or tight budget get the S8 Plus Remember regarding battery life apple does not give you out of the box fast charging adapter. You have to add money for that.

Personally think with the price difference would settle with s8 plus The only thing you get from note is potrait mode, stylus, and extra RAM. Most casual users won't even notice it. But if you really into the potrait mode, then go for it
Android is better if you're going for productivity and ease of access (such as transferring songs and any files). Android has widgets, stylus features on some models, larger display, always-on display, microSD card support, headphone jack, etc etc all for a lower price too.
For camera wise, gaming, and intensive applications/multitasking iPhone beats Android flat out. This is due to it being more optimized in every way (the way iOS is made).
Hoping one day Android will catch up to Apple. More competition is better for us all.

Having said that, new iPhone will cost RM10k soon. But I appreciate what Apple has given so far, most of my friends also comment that iphone is less laggy compare to android phones.

before they can reach there hopefully Android will give them a nice spanking soon by beating them in every category.
only way to humble the big Apple.
it is possible in time.. just watch how AMD teach Intel a lesson by outperforming them with their new AMD Ryzen chips + a lower selling price.

the ram is an important factor too, but lets not talk about Samsung in this thread...
