all the while using Android for personal phone.. company phone using iPhone thats how I got exposed to it.

First time buying.. due to gaming decided to get one (some intense games lag real bad at Android). Paying so much also weh. Android phones usually RM1.5k+ can get good one adi.

Very isolated case
Good luck

Thanks for consolation.. hope everything goes smoothly.. laugh.gif

What game you're playing now on your Android?

It's really depending on how hard-working the developer on optimizing it for android.

You do know that android have the best battery life for long hours of gaming right?
*
Transformers: Forged to Fight.

my Android is not old.. it's an Honor 8. Yet the micro lags on it can cause me to lose a battle.

micro lags itself will do to ruin the experience since it's a fighting game.. every second and movement counts.

if one day quit the game adi then it is good for other games also la.. thinking long term too. Somemore this iphone now uses new chip much faster than before:
http://www.businessinsider.my/a11-bionic-i...17-9/?r=US&IR=T

battery life one thing I found to lengthen it is to reduce brightness (make sure not too bright just nice).. and disable as many background running apps as possible (such as push email). Got powerbank to save the day also ma.. Xiaomi powerbank nowadays very thin and light adi biggrin.gif

bought my iphone on Digi's website.. found it to be most suited for me package 78 can really save a lot. From RM4k+ this model become RM3k only. Almost same price as a iPhone 7 Plus 128gb 2nd hand already (earlier on almost wanted to buy this model 2nd hand). Wish Celcom and Maxis follow their strategy rather than forcing customer sign up big mobile plans - not everyone is a heavy phone user k? I'm sure majority are not - package 50-70 cellphone package is good enough a month.

Tim Cook the accountant took over mah.. then all phone prices also increase price as they add more features and techs..

and most important factor : ppl still willing to pay the exorbitant prices

Which means if you did not choose the easy payment, the first payment that you have to fork out is RM3613, right? Which includes first 8months no bill.
*
go EPP (easy payment la).. just need a credit card. else need fork out a lot of cash.

EPP for digi on average is about RM200-300 depending on the specs u choose. It will tie up your credit card's max limit tho eg. if swipe limit is RM8k.. RM5k+ is used up for this. Coz bank will pay in advance to Digi first.. then only u slowly pay back to bank without interest.

P.S the credit card support for EPP also limited to 4 banks only.. Maybank and HSBC cards part of it.. the other 2 forgot.. when I was paying I saw them listed.

Can iPhone 8 buyer explains why you didn't pick the iPhone x?
Do you feel the design abit dated with the iPhone 8?
*
Both have the same Cpu A11 bionic chip. IPhone X more expensive coz of extra features. Don't really need the extra features so stucked with 8. X also much more expensive to buy.

but from what I heard from sister said (she is using Digi), I am using Maxis
mostly inside shopping mall Digi line not stable compare to Maxis that I am using
even though Digi rolled out 900 mhz LTE, but it doesn't help much
although it show 4G / 4G+ icon, but speed is terrible laugh.gif
*
So far I used digi so long I'm ok.. 4g everywhere in Selangor now and in major cities.

Maxis coverage sometimes is worse than Digi at certain areas.

If you worry then pay more for celcom or maxis lor. Both charge much more than Digi for iPhone package. Really worth it if u can finish use their large mobile packages else is burning it every month.

Why you should upgrade from 6, 7 to 8 plus :
- better camera (OIS works pretty well)
- potrait mode is the best camera i've used
- wireless charging (really convenient)
- if you're gadget freak (like to have advance gadget almost every year)
- you don't wanna be left behind with your friend tongue.gif

Why you shouldn't upgrade
- if you're are a simple user, mails, casual usage with picture
- if you're hesitate ix vs 8 plus...go for ix, sell your 6 or 7 and start saving tongue.gif
- if you don't have money, 6 or 7 can last you , maybe another 1 or 2 more year(s)
well, im a gadget freak..biggrin.gif

How to wireless charge? Got cheap wireless charger that is safe to use? Apple wireless charger sure expensive right?

Wonder if they support wireless fast charging, otherwise, i think fast charging charger would be enough.

fast charging only with Macbook charger (or some other 3rd party charger - make sure safe bfore use).

wireless charging likely just normal charging speed.

Hi need all your opinion here please

I am using iPhone 6+ for the last 2 years. Its is 16GB and i am having a hard time using it. *u know why*

Now i think i will upgrade it. Does iphone 8+ 64GB is good enough (the storage) or should i go with iPhone 7+ 128GB??

cry.gif  cry.gif
*
iphone 7 hard to find at any telcos that offer plans with it already.. many ppl grabbed it earlier when the price dropped. If you wanted 7 you should have went for it during the Apple's announcement last month. Now only options are phone only purchases.. brand new iPhones in boxes without plans. One iPhone 7 /Plus would cost nearly same as a iPhone 8/Plus 64gb on Digi's 78 plan already. Top up a few hundred will get iPhone 8 might as well go for it? (Digi 78 plan slashes the price as much as RM1k)

Did not regret after testing out my iPhone 8 64gb on some games. Super smooth and good. Zero lag / crash even after playing it long (google Transformers Forged to Fight - very high end game there). Gonna test the cameras heavily too after this. That A11 chip is really something no joke bros.

Read here if u not convinced how much improvement it is over 7:

careful nanti Face ID unlock got issues icon_idea.gif already proven during product launching demonstration.. as per video below.. X don't have fingerprint sensor built into it anymore. Pray hard Apple will manage to fix it before selling the product next month.

and that notch at the top of it.. imagine watching videos / playing game with that annoying bar blocking your view ALL THE TIME:

annoyed that ppl are selling iPhone 7 casing for iPhone 8 (plus version as well) since both fits. vmad.gif

however, be warned if the back has a round hole cutout (for the logo).. the Apple logo won't match for iPhone 8 when using an iPhone 7 case (same with Plus) - end up very ugly! And also iPhone 8 is slightly thicker so will end up the case might bulge or has less protection at the front! Better check properly! doh.gif

just start manufacturing new iPhone 8 / Plus specific cases already.. there's a large market for them now aduhai.. doh.gif

Received my new UAG Plasma case for my iPhone 8 Plus.. superb case. Love it even more as I keep holding and using it (love it for being lightweight).. price a bit high but it's worth it for its quality. Really know it's an ori product and good quality. Model is "Plasma - Ash". Ice color will suit u if you're using Silver iPhone 7/8 thumbup.gif :

the one that came free with Digi preorder plans.. Panzer Glass it's called. So far used it so good.. good quality and thick.

The free case that came with it sucks tho.. Muvit transparent case.. so easy to oily can't tahan! hence why I bought a few cases and tried out.

Choosing between note 8 and ip8, functionality of note is greater than iPhone 8? Hardware capability is not the 1st priority

Budget around 3k
*
iPhone 8 64gb Plus la.. u can sign up Digi package 78 and buy that model for RM3k for the phone. Got Easy Payment Plan also (0% interest). Go for Plus always so that u don't have to carry a powerbank with u when u are outside for half a day.

hardware capability not your first priority but never know when might need it right? like me now settle down with kids d much less time for gaming switched over to mobile gaming instead... that hardware now matters to me. Playing any latest games on iPhone is super smooth, much more optimized than Android. That A11 bionic chip is fastest performing chip out there now too.

Got to fondle my colleage's iPhone 8+ she just got yesterday. Must admit, the glass surround does feel like the ip4 however the 8+ is bigger, slimmer and having much rounded corners. The aesthetics is just beautiful. All side buttons looks and feels firm and very accurately cut into its housing without any gaps whatsoever.
*
the real difference is when u play a graphically intense game.. much faster load speed and performance.

multitask, doing anything on the phone is much faster also. Camera is awesome too.

one major drawback - it is heavier than the 7 Plus due to glass back (to support wireless charge only plastic/glass is usable, metal will fail).. so if u put on a thick case it will become real heavy. Hence, if you're sensitive with weight issues better just go for iPhone 8 (non Plus version) - need sacrifice battery life a bit there tho. If want lightweight but have better specs and battery then iPhone X.

just curious is anyone facing heating issue in 8/8+?
*
normal to overheat a bit esp if u playing some intensive games / setting brightness to max while doing so. It is how smartphone release their heat.. not only the iphone.

i would close it take a break awhile then only switch back on the app if it's too hot. Won't damage or anything la but the app might become slower/crash etc it's how iphone protects itself.
