QUOTE(Xypheria @ Sep 25 2017, 01:24 PM) I wrote somewhere, the self-collect option has been disabled due to high amounts of cancellation. When Apple ship the product to the branch, if the buyer cancelled the order, the branch would have trouble on relocating that phone as iPhone 8/8+ demand is really low compared to iphone 7/7+ as mostly people waiting for ipong X.This post has been edited by realitec: Sep 25 2017, 02:05 PM |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Sep 27 2017, 11:45 AM) I plan to get the 8+ after years of owning Androids. 64gb wouldn't be enough if you taking pictures alot. As new ios might take some of the space already. The better camera will also lead the picture increase in size. You may consider to get a higher storage one if your budget allows. Otherwise, you may take photo and sync to Google Photo, then delete from the device or you back up your photos routinely.Currently using the Samsung S7E, nothing is wrong with that phone but I need something more stable at the current state of my life. I wonder if the 64GB is sufficient? I have never owned an iPhone but I do use an iPad. I use Spotify a lot and I love taking pictures. |

Does apple do repair? I remember if there is a lil problem they will just change 1 to 1.. Last few years back, my friend's iphone 6 home button is not "sensitive", then she got a new replacement.. And the warranty is almost due..

QUOTE(reddevil87 @ Oct 12 2017, 10:06 AM) Haha I think for 256GB, it should be only additional RM700 which make it RM4,799, still consider ok compare to my earlier prediction of RM4,699. For reference, current iPhone 7 Plus additional storage need to add on RM500 Yes I remember previously bigger storage cost 500 equivalent to USD 100, and now USD150 more.. So approximately 750? |

QUOTE(attw @ Oct 12 2017, 11:11 PM) This must be the slowest new iPhone thread we’ve had in this forum for some time, I guess. At the eve of the launch and we’re only into page 43, version 1. Yea, agreed with this. This is actually an advantage for people who are interested in iphone 8/ 8+ instead of X. This is a great phone.Stocks should be sufficient for pre-order |

QUOTE(farkingdom @ Oct 13 2017, 04:38 PM) I think you should think of Apple being the greediest company on earth. I read somewhere, although the battery capacity decreased, but the for battery usage, iphone 8+ last longer than iphone 7+ too. And iPhone X battery is 2 hours longer than iPhone 8, it might be lower than iPhone 8+. Having to say, iPhone X battery life is in the middle. They are already rich. Yet they charge you a premium and locked you into their ecosystem. For example, iPhoneX has a larger battery capacity compared to the iPhone 8 Plus, even though X clearly has a smaller body. Why wouldn't they want to increase iPhone 8 Plus battery capacity?! And yet last year they removed the headphone jack, in which at least they did increase the capacity of the 7Plus battery, but how come this year they have to decrease the 8Plus battery capacity again but still without the headphone jack?! What I can think of is -planned obsolescence. Look around forum and you can tell iOS11 is draining all the older iPhone model batteries. |
