Really disappointed with the audio quality on my iphone 8+.

There are complaints of the sound quality issues with iPhone 8 when one talk on the phone. Reports said that Apple is working on it, it's a software issue. It's also reported some iPhone 7 had / having similar issues. I'm getting a iPhone 8 plus soon this sound quality thing kind of spoof me. These reports said if the iPhone is set to speaker phone to talk is ok but from your comments here, it seems otherwise. As usual Apple said it only affected a small percentage of their phones. I hope Apple fix this by the time I get mine.

Go google. Some said Apple put like half dac internal and then another on the adapter. In either ccase, with without adapter the sound is just pretty normal. 4K phone , dats y I’m complaining

Initially was thinking of getting from Machines with added year of warranty...found out the price for the additional year is RM599!!! What the Even with installment also sweat...

Anyway got it from Lazada on 11.11

It is heavy but since I am also using Mi Max no problem there. Although I am considering putting a ring on the back as I am paranoid of dropping it.

Love the phone. Only serious problem for me is the physical button that is not a real button

Only wished it was an android phone...missed all the shortcuts I can get for android...the personalised ringtones the back button, the home button and having no actual physical button but can have easy access to much more features!

Luckily I've been using ipad the past 5-6 years so iOS is not a real problem

Hope you are happy with your switch I am from iPhone 6s Plus to iPhone 7 to J7 Prime though, as i sold my iPhone 7 (screen is small and battery is bad compared to 6s Plus) at a nice price. And now, I am coming back to iPhone 8 Plus. No regret, this is a great phone. It is a phone that perform the same as X at almost RM1k cheaper price.

means live video enable (previous i disable) and popup this when on portrait mode

It's in settings. Just go to Settings > Photos & Camera > Preserve Settings, and switch Live Photos to OFF. This will preserve whatever you had Live Photos set to the last time you used the Camera app rather than returning to the default setting.

Yeah, if you’re using the Mi Max then for sure the iPhone 8 Plus weight is a non-issue for you

Bought budi wireless charger from ookas for rm50++.
The convenience is real but my ip8 kept switch between charging and not at 5min-ish intervals and thats after finding the right position iykwim
Charge rate is okay, 20% in 15min (i guess, havent measure it properly)
Phone Temperature is warm, but not hot to touch but more to warm-warm
Not recommended for ip8+ due to small contact point (imho)

I think my 8+ have some problems with GPS. Not sure if hardware or software related.

I used the google map for the first time today, and i think the phone is really slow in picking up the initial location. After sometimes it become OK but once a while the arrow become erratic (just like when driving under basement)

On 6, my google map is quite smooth so this kinda annoys me a little

Anyone here tried Fiio i1? Care to provide review?

i assume your iphone 8 plus is restore from your 6 back up,you can try reset network (note:be careful is reset network,if you choose other reset then later will gg )

Try it and maybe will solve your problem
