QUOTE(droidtrix @ Dec 28 2017, 10:52 PM) 1 hour 59 mins 1 hour 58 mins 2 hours 2 hours Well, perhaps your sister is using a fake charging adapter or confused with the Redmi Note 4 model which has a 4000mAh battery, I don't see the logic of 3 hours charging time on the Mi A1. She might need to check with Mi service center? This post has been edited by jovigrunge: Dec 28 2017, 11:56 PM |

QUOTE(ChuanHong @ Dec 28 2017, 04:24 PM) orignally smartphone charging tech is 5V/1A.. then 5V/1.5A.. After QC1.0 like that is 5V/2A.. so majority will consider 5V/2A as fast charging.. Really not sure the diffrent.even Apple iPhone X/8 also bundle with 5V/1A charger only.. For QC2.0, they pushed out higher voltage to deliver more watts to our phone in safe control envrionment by chipset.. QC3.0 is more on charging efficiency.. same as 4.0.. 5V/2A as stock charger and use 2 hours + for 0~100% is about 1% for every minute+.. consider good.. Dash Charge/Oppo VOOC/Huawei Fast Charge which is deliver higher Amp at 5voltage (5V/4A or +).. But i always use Xiomi powerbank to charge my phone. Do powerbank 2 got fast charger like as mention? |

QUOTE(mcat84 @ Dec 28 2017, 04:38 PM) 3000mah battery with 2A charger = 1.5 hours charge time (if the current constantly on 2A.....which is not possible in real life.....based on 2 hours charge time, the ampere average is 1.5A) u point out the most important things.. in real life, there is not possible to get 2A max current at all time.. most chipset have protection for battery charging.. 0~85% maybe real quick, but when ,aybe 85%~100% take time.. also, there are some protection even u use higher Amp, chipset may not accept it.. so must change charger and usb cable to bump more current ???? (the phone explode because too high current ?????) my advise, no point to change really expensive charger unless u do have many devices currently and may get multiple ports of charger.. personally using QC2.0 3 in 1 charger & QC2.0 powerbank.. which may provide 5V/2.4A (12W) compare to normal 5V/2A (10W). get a quality cable like cabstone/others branded cable for stable charging.. QUOTE(Wolgie @ Dec 29 2017, 07:31 AM) Really not sure the diffrent. Mi powerbank 2? if yes, then it is support QC2.0 which able to deliver output 5V/2.4A(12W), 9V/12V ~ (15W).. But i always use Xiomi powerbank to charge my phone. Do powerbank 2 got fast charger like as mention? im using Romoss Powerbank polymer 10s.. deliver same output max 15W.. input charging with fast charger (18W), full charge 10000mAh powerbank in less than 4 hours. |

I have issue in my MiA1 set that I am using now. When ever i have grey or pale background on my screen or drag down notification, i can see the Status Bar Icon in the shadow. Is that normal ? If the defect , can it be send for warranty claim ?

Sounds like screen burn-in to me. I have this issue when I use Redmi Note 4 SD with tianma display panel. It will go away after some moments when the phone cools down, probably won't stay there as this is not AMOLED. Seems like quick charging is not featured in Oreo update. But in the video it is beta update though. This post has been edited by Jon_00228: Dec 29 2017, 05:30 PM |
