just bought Mi A1 from shop.. Previous phone unusable for now.. so force to buy in RRP RM999 (but with 1 year screen cracking protection).

should be 999.. Bought in QB mall penang.. urban republic.. even Mi Store in QB also selling RM999.. just Urban Republic offer 1 year screen crack protection.. so okay i took this..

this feature available since android kitkat/lollipop version..

useful if u put on car as navigation, instead of use fingerprint, u may let phone scan ur face and unlock it..

orignally smartphone charging tech is 5V/1A.. then 5V/1.5A.. After QC1.0 like that is 5V/2A.. so majority will consider 5V/2A as fast charging..

even Apple iPhone X/8 also bundle with 5V/1A charger only..

For QC2.0, they pushed out higher voltage to deliver more watts to our phone in safe control envrionment by chipset.. QC3.0 is more on charging efficiency.. same as 4.0..

5V/2A as stock charger and use 2 hours + for 0~100% is about 1% for every minute+.. consider good..

Dash Charge/Oppo VOOC/Huawei Fast Charge which is deliver higher Amp at 5voltage (5V/4A or +)..

u point out the most important things.. in real life, there is not possible to get 2A max current at all time.. most chipset have protection for battery charging.. 0~85% maybe real quick, but when ,aybe 85%~100% take time.. also, there are some protection even u use higher Amp, chipset may not accept it..

my advise, no point to change really expensive charger unless u do have many devices currently and may get multiple ports of charger.. personally using QC2.0 3 in 1 charger & QC2.0 powerbank.. which may provide 5V/2.4A (12W) compare to normal 5V/2A (10W). get a quality cable like cabstone/others branded cable for stable charging..




Mi powerbank 2? if yes, then it is support QC2.0 which able to deliver output 5V/2.4A(12W), 9V/12V ~ (15W)..

im using Romoss Powerbank polymer 10s.. deliver same output max 15W.. input charging with fast charger (18W), full charge 10000mAh powerbank in less than 4 hours.

actually u will never know how long can a phone lasts.. LOL in term of hardware or software aspect.. if a moderate hardware maybe can lasts u about 1.5~2y without laggy.. a flagship maybe can lasts u 3~5 years..

but sometime u have hardware failure in 2/3 years time.. always recommend to buy & enjoy now..

so far this is android one phone which xiaomi & google collaborate and work together.. google will support software update as per promised. software part - cleared.. hardware part - snapdragon 625, one of popular mid range chipset.. probably may refer more article and choose the best suit smartphone for yourself.. probably u may list down your priority features for your usage

there are some features in flagship but seldom people will use it like NFC, DSEX, LDAC, NFC Payment type, note 8 pen, MHL, and etc.. look for what u want and get it..

some of colleagues buy for Apple / top flagship smartphone, but in the end use for social media apps, after 2 years, cannot ady.. change again..
