double tap for turn off is work able , but then when i use finger unlock it will show pattern lock instance . look like it not able to give you use finger unlock anymore .

Just wanted to share, if you guys wanted to force to use the zoom lens in low light you need to use manual mode and change the lens from wide to tele. You can double check with EXIF data, if f2.6 its zoom lens.

Thats true. Flagship devices were better than these midrangers, better in terms of everything. Heck, in terms of screen responsiveness my Mi4 were miles ahead of Mi A1

That's why we have choices. Flagship is always the best phone before mid range and low range. If budget phone is better than flagship, no point having flagship.

does anyone know whether Mi A1 has the feature night mode / reading mode that will set your screen color temperature warmer ?

Try go to messages & press the 3 dots at top right corner, go to settings > advanced > wireless alerts. That's where the cell broadcast setting is. Figure out the rest yourself as I don't really know what is that..lol.
