This is the story behind all the problems.

Day 1,(Saturday)
WOW, my pc arrived.. I'm very happy. Happiness turned into disaster when I noticed that there was a 1cm scratch on the notebook. I thought WHAT!? I paid almost RM5000 and DELL's giving me a damaged laptop?.....
I was getting sleepy so I didn't open the printer that was bundled together on that day.

Day 2, (Sunday)
I woke up the next day, decided that the scratch on the notebook woudnt disturb me much.. Opened the All In One Printer 926 Box, Looked at it, and said, wow, looks pretty for a printer. After close inspection, I noticed that almost the whole printer has scratches.. Oh My GOD! What's wrong with DELL providing me with such poor quality products!
Yet again, I decided that ok, this is another small matter, carry on with life..

Day 3, (Monday)
Switched on the notebook, ran some softwares to run in the notebook, noticed that there was some light leakage at the lcd panel. Wireless connections gets cut off sometimes, (not sure whether it has to do with my modem).

Day 4,(Tuesday)
My hard disk started to make NOISE..... reading noises.
I know that hard disk makes noise when it reads, but the noise was SO loud.. it was like ...( arghh.. I cant describe it) That noise comes on and off .. sometimes its noisy.. sometimes its normal. I'm not sure whether it is a sign of hard disk failure.

I cant stand it anymore. So many problems popping up..
Decided to contact Dell.

No worry:) I will arrange for new notebook + printer sending over within 8 days. Meanwhile you can use the old system first as my DHL ppl will collect from you once new system reach your doorstep.

mine had around 1cm deep scratch too. on top corner of the LCD screen. wonder how it get there..must be during assembly. mad.gif but don't care la. just small scratch. other than that whole notebook perfom perfectly. btw just an advise to u guys..changed my lappy's LCD hinge coz it's loose when u move it. the technician said Dell lappy always got this prob. he advised not to always flip the LCD up & down frequently. but if yours till in CC then no worries. fixed mine during CC too. tongue.gif

and got money then change the other one...

edit : wat's d maximum ram supported by 6400? 2GB RAM only ar???
