So overall is the notebook worth to get kah?

ok , alright ...might be my fault...but dual channel only improve + - 10% only ....

i dun really think that 1.5gb ram will lose to 1gb dual channel ram , am i rite ?    

running higher capacity ram is better than running 512mb ram x 2 .....

Er..one question,i want to create partition.So iz it best for me to do that right after i got the lappy?

So how long would it takes to create a partition from a new lappy? And use 3rd party software or use vista install cd better?

isn't it vista can create partition in disk management...something to do wif shrink ur c: then create new partiton wif the unpartitoned size that u shrunk....

guys , my battery dead d... lowest brightness juz can stand for 2.5hours....last time can stand for at least 4hours++ for lowest brightness...2moro going to call dell to replace 1 for me

If I maximize the brightness, normally it will stands how long for a good battery?

just wanna ask what u guys think..i normally d/l torrent and then go to sleep..but when i sleep i will flip my laptop facing down (terbalik) so the air down there will be easier to flow..

Core 2 duo 1.73ghz 533 Mhz..the truelife is 1200x800,the ram is 667 mhz and got dvd writer..

I only get the one year warranty,coz my mum says she got insurance for the notebook,about rm10++ per year..

i think he said 2gb jz now..

anyway if its 667mhz rite, but the processor is 533...so it wont work at 667?

im really upset with my Inspiron 6400 now.

ive been using pc for almost 10 years now
ok, this is my first purchase of Core 2 Duo[1.7gz 533mhz] laptop. [previously owned a Intel Centrino 1.6gz]

i order with Vista + 1GB Ram / Ati x1400

when i first receive from the package. it was all new and stuff
i boot it up.. and load up to Vista but it was stuck for loading like more then 30 minutes.
then rebooted again, and same thing keeps happening.
well i got pissed, i formated it
then i install WinXP Pro sp2

everything was fine.
but the thing i notice.

my 6400. always have LAG SPIKE in running anything.
even normal window explorer opening folders sure got LAG SPIKE. [ formated twice winxp. same thing]

i can say my old centrino runs even faster and smoother then my new 6400 with core2duo

now this is really pissing me off already.. its worst then any other pc/laptop i owned.

can be this unit be FAULTY?

or do you guys get constant lag spike with core2duo?

sigh.. help
