Finally the Raptors are playing like a team... By guarding the 3 aces of Nets, and dishing the ball around on offense, even without Bosh, they are good enough to sink the Nets.
I wonder how is TJ Ford's condition.. he did came into court for a shortwhile.. maybe he isnt comfortable with his injury |

Lakers Notebook: Stiff back keeps Kobe out of practice
The Lakers could still conduct five-on-five drills Tuesday, but just barely. Kobe Bryant ominously joined the ranks of the hobbled when he skipped practice with a stiff back. "I tweaked it in the last game, so I just have to make sure it's ready," Bryant said. Injured Lakers Lamar Odom (shoulder, elbow), Luke Walton (ankle) and Kwame Brown (ankles, back) are already keeping the training staff busy. But with the Lakers facing playoff elimination tonight in Game 5 in Phoenix, they can't afford to have Bryant at anything less than 100 percent effectiveness. Headlines Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan Named to NBA All-Defensive First Team Despite winning the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year honors Marcus Camby wasn't the top vote getter for the NBA All-Defensive Team. That honor went to San Antonio Spurs forward Bruce Bowen who received 42 votes, edging teammate Tim Duncan who was also included on the first team squad. This is Bowen's seventh time being selected by the NBA's 30 head coaches while Duncan, who received 36 votes, earned his 10th appearance on the list. Bowen and Duncan were joined by the Denver Nuggets Marcus Camby who was selected for the third time in his career. Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns' Raja Bell rounded out the list of first teamers. Chicago Bulls stars Ben Wallace and Kirk Hinrich, New Jersey Nets guard Jason Kidd, Tayshaun Prince of the Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves veteran Kevin Garnett were named to the second team. Kobe will have to be the man, as usual Kobe Bryant spent more time inside his Bentley than he did inside the Lakers' practice facility Monday afternoon, so Bryant had plenty of time to sit in freeway traffic and contemplate life. Among the topics running through Bryant's head might have included the Lakers' seemingly imminent departure from the playoffs and his selection to the NBA's all-defensive team, for the seventh time. If Bryant turned a little more introspective, he might have mulled over his place in history. Headlines |
