2 more dayt till Lakers vs Suns... does anybody think Lakers can win? Losing by 3-1, i am sure they are pretty depressed and frustrated... Well, with the full Suns team back up (not like the previous season), the Lakers are bout to get swept.

Sad to say, Lakers will be swept. Nash, Marion & Stoudemire are on fire.

I think very few team wen their oppenents reach up to 3 is really hard wo win them....
Correct me if i wrong, i remember last season or last 2 season got 1 team lost 3 series but at last win... 4get wic team is it.....

Lekers not going to get swept, cos they won 1 game already... u only get swept when u lost all 4 games....

Dunno whether to say Eastern playoffs team strong or their opponent too weak... Detroit Magic, Cleveland Wizards, the difference in skills are too big a difference and its not surprising to see them sweeping the game... Bulls and Heat as well... Heat is too old, Shaq normally cruised through regular season and turn it up in playoffs but he has to do it in regular season this time since Wade went out... and Wade is not healthy enough to play yet...

Close games in Western conference... that could be due to all the teams being equivalently stong??

could be an advantage to the east since they play easier games

judging by how Lakers r playing tis season & during playoffs, i think they will get eliminated on wednesday.. unless de other guys on da Lakers team step up..

Jackson Sends Lakers Home Early

With time running out on their season, the Lakers assembled for practice Monday morning and experienced a much shorter session than expected.

Phil Jackson gathered the team in the video room, showed a brief clip from the movie "Hustle & Flow," and bluntly informed the players that they absolutely didn't hustle on defense and showed little or no flow on offense in their Game 4 loss to Phoenix.

Then he sent them home to ponder the 3-1 deficit they've created for themselves.

In other words, they might want to start hustling or else they'll flow right out of the playoffs.

Robert Horry did it again on Monday night.

"Big Shot Rob" hit a 3-pointer from the right corner with 30 seconds left to seal San Antonio's 96-89 victory over the Nuggets that gave the Spurs a 3-1 lead in the first-round series.

The Spurs can close out the best-of-seven series at home on Wednesday night.

Lamar Odom has overcome personal and physical obstacles to have a solid season for the Los Angeles Lakers. That season may well end Wednesday in Phoenix, and there's a chance the Lakers' playoff exit could signal the end of Odom's tenure with the team.

It's become clear that Kobe Bryant needs some All-Star help, and because his style clashes with Kobe's, it could be Odom that goes. Odom, for his part, wants to stay in Los Angeles.

Phil does has his own way of coaching his players. Remember that Phil once made them look at some kinda Hitler's poster (couldnt remember correctly) but then he did motivated them by reflection of the Nazi times.

I doubt Phil's plan is gonna work. They are too late in bouncing back. With their confidence that low, and the Suns is so high up... i think the Lakers this time are going home.. Well at least it wasnt their home court so it wont be that embarrassed
