Maybe one last try is to call the Onkyo distributor, Hwee Seng at 03-7875 4840
*
Probably no more as well. Last year, Onkyo Malaysia (factory) had a special offer for 805, 875 and 905. Freaking low price. That was in August if not mistaken

A few of them here managed to get 875 for less than RM3.5K. maxovista, aiman04 and ALPS2008 are few of them.

Thanks for the detailed reply.

Does Nelson need to come visit your room in order to advise what room treatment to get and where to place it?

That Mini Fuser is interesting if it can make the room sound big.

It's a good feeling to fulfill your dream of a HT right? I plan to join the club soon...

My friend who is using auralex told me that he just bought one for his B&W center speaker. He said the vocal sounds a lot better now. Gonna check it out.

I'm curious how he installed the Mini Fusor on his center speaker to improve the sound. I thought it goes on the wall or ceiling.
*
It's Mopad. He got it for abt RM180

My room isn't ideal too, being too long.

10' (W) x 20' (D) x 8' (H). Still trying to improve acoustic treatment.

Go to Center Circle Audio in Tmn Tun. I am sure that they will be glad to help you out on the acoustic treatment. I will probably go there on this coming Sat

For the 1st time, I see a center speaker under a LCD TV. Why a table in the middle? Wont block your viewing? Try to get proper spkr stands for your front

Is that UK Spec's Sony AVR? Your setup quite messy but you have nice B&W speakers. Clean up the clutter and it will be better.

arremie, that's the best 'floating' center speaker stand that I'd seen tongue.gif Btw, lickily that I do not have a faint heart. Else, I would have succumb to heart attack with your sms blush.gif

Glad to know that you are enjoying it and it beats your PSB Alpha setup hands down. Nice meeting you smile.gif

htkaki, thanks for sharing Mr Tan's setup. Very nice!

arremie, congrats on the new Klipsch speakers! You must be in audio heaven now!

Now, it is even nicer. If I have time, I will go and take some photos. He is also sourcing for a new AV receiver but that only serves as processor since he is using 2 power amps.

there's another thread, with just specs. Dunno where it go, perhaps it could be posted there.
Anyway, any forum'ers here staying in KL area, I wonder if some could make a stereo hifi setup in an apartment living.

Htkaki, i should had go listen to your brothers setup the other day ... mine still missing some touch, will be getting the foams later on this evening.
*

If you go to his house and listen, then you will feel that our setup is miles apart for music. His CDP already abt RM3.5K sweat.gif Using Cardas Interconnects.

After auditioning, kena poison again. This time, maybe you will buy good CDP, nice cables, a dedicated stereo amp.
