QUOTE(HornyAngMoh @ Jun 16 2009, 08:38 AM) Every pieces of ur HT equipment now look very elite & very high keras! Now only ur sub look very lonely & out of place among all the 'tall' boy! Don't u think it is now the perfect choice & excuse to add in the SVS PC 13 Ultra? Same size as ur spk so very very ngam! Oh btw if u do up-grade do give me ur sub in return I will give ur Sarawak 'elite' fish like 'Sung Hock'! He! He! At least I also got new troy mah even though pre-own! Peasant can not be choosy! The PC-13Ultra will be too big and makes the Axiom looks small as it is at a towering 46". My PC-12Plus is at 40". That alone make my Klipsch floorstanders look puny Taukeh mpyw, now you realise that you been missing a lot eh? Never a fan of B&W as I do not its characteristic. Maybe aint my cup of errr... speakers

QUOTE(mpyw @ Jun 16 2009, 10:53 AM) I don't have any B&W 603 to test with unless some good people form LYN can borrow me for a shootout. However, I hv heard the B&W 683 with HTM61 in a proper HT room driven by the SR6003, their sound so dull & flat unlike the Axiom which is detailed, crisper clear and the bass are much better in stereo mode....I don't know if the 683 had been fully run in but the M60 are new out of the box.... Bro, for my taste (sorry if I offend others as it is purely my taste) the B&W isn't what I expected it to be for movies. Sound flat and laid back as if it is 'stuck to the wall'. I think I have to blame myself as I am used to American speakers for more than a decade Even my friend thinks that Klipsch sounds better than his B&W. One man's meat is another man's poison

The courier co / logistic co will collect the tax from you if it si D2D.
If it is D2A, then you need to do it on your own.
Tax is 15% + 10% on the total amt (Price of goods and shipping fee).
Axiom is not considered as high end speakers. It is 'affordable' range of speakers and a reputable co in North America. High end would be like Martin Logan, MBL, Wilson Benesch, Wilson Audio, Klipsch THX Ultra 2, etc which could easily buy you a car or a house for a 5.1 system

QUOTE(jchong @ Jun 16 2009, 03:24 PM) When it comes to speakers there are many expensive brands out there, where their stuff costs an arm and a leg. One of the most obscenely priced is Magico. Their 'entry level' is the V2 which costs USD18k!!! Their bookshelf Mini II speaker is USD29.6k. If that's not crazy enough, check out their top of the line Ultimate II at USD329k. I am happy with my current peasant setup already. Next on the upgrade list would be 2pairs of Klipsch RS-42, a 1080p pj, and probably a power amp.

QUOTE(mpyw @ Jun 22 2009, 04:35 PM) hopefully...with your cost sharing, we each save a bit lor but the stripping parts made my fingers feel numb again Yeah, and I can use this for my 'cheap' center speaker (as oppose to your midrange center) Are you using wire stripper? If you have, should be easy and not that tiring. I have one at home.
