Walaowei,they like to make things complicated.
That option should be a priority for digi users.
Btw,my sister successfully ported out from other telco to digi 38.

U just need to switch to other Digi plan and switch back in ambassador.

I am not sure what is the condition of 4g rm38 plan. It is not found from the website and I am assume it is exclusive plan.

So far there is a case at digi thread mentioned, a umoble user can't direct get this plan. He finally get it when port in to digi with rm80 plan for a week then switch to this plan.

I'm currently on the legacy AMB Zero plan (RM 34 for 6 GB) but I hardly use any data (wifi available at work/home). Anyone here knows whether if I drop down to a lower monthly plan (for example 1GB for 28), will the 50% discount still apply ? (so I would only be paying RM 14)

Only RM68 Data plan come with 50% (x2 data) discount.. other remain same.

It's OK to drop the monthly data, I already dropped more than a year ago. Nothing to miss about.
Just subscribe to weekly RM 5 for 3GB and stackable. One month RM 20 for 12GB. Where to get such deal?

I don't have that RM 5 for 3 GB option, unfortunately.

You can drop it and resub anytime and those offer remain same.. RM34/6GB

- If you wish to sub. addon mentioned by Ms.Fruitie, follow below step :
1 : Drop your current monthly data plan
2 : Call DiGi cs @ 0162211800
3: Request them to reactivate your Monthly 0mb data plan
4: After reactivate Monthly 0mb you'll able to purchase RM5/3gb weekly data plan.

Edit: Yes, it works. I have the option for RM 5 for 3 GB per week now. Thanks all.

Edit 2: Just to share that I got questioned quite a bit by the CS, asking why. I just said it's my secondary number, and that I only want to be able to send/receive whatsapp messages. I also added that if they look back at my data usage history, it's very very low. As advised in this thread, I did not mention the RM 5 per week or Music Freedom RM 0 addons.
