Glad to find this forum!!! Looking for some help from all expert here. I used to ride Mongose. Due to busy schedule, haven't ride for almost 2 years. Putting some weight now and need to start again. Suddenly my daughter want to use it in her college. Now, I need new one. I bought my Mongose for RM700. So now I am thinking of getting below RM1500. After browsing this thread and V5 thread, I've narrow down my choice to:

1. XDS K1
2. XDS K2
3. Java Pro4
4. Java Fit
5. TRS Victor
6. Trinx Flybird 2.0

I am only using it for exercise in the weekend. Not a hardcore. No plan to upgrade. My route always Taman TAR in Ampang for about 1 - 1.30 hour.
Which one give me more value for money in term of durabality and some riding comfort. If other brand in the list is available, feel free to suggest.
If I can get it cheaper is better

u had triple chainring bujal. ape ade hal the last 8km

laju2 pn nk kemana?5km fellowship ride. so must stop after 5km for rolling start

i only have one opinion - if leg no power, give you 3x11 oso no use. so just get whatever you feel like it first and start training your legs. once your legs are powerful enough, even ride single speed also can tapau the group.

i had 20speed bike, but i used only 1 cog, and very malas to change gear but my leg are not that strong

My friend had a blow out on his Schwalbe Marathon Racer few weeks ago near Sekinchan.  The tube had an inch cut and the tire had 1.5 inch cut. He replaced the tube and managed to sew and patch the tire. We cycled 25km back to our cars.

thats why some people moded to double chainring. at the rear remains, only setup a bit heavier lor..

what do you need for double chainring?
1. double chainring / crankset
2. left shifter (sometimes ending up buying a pair)
3. fd
4. cables/housing
5. fd hanger

at the end, what will u save
1. current chain
2. rd no need to change/tune
3. shifting like normal

i like to setup double chainring. why?
1. if ur running small wheel, rd choices are limited to keep ur rd low profile from touching the ground
2. wider gear range
3. smaller ratio casette

finally, its up to u

hi guys, recently bought brompton copycat the element pikes..the tyre size is innova 16 x 1 3/8 | 37-349..tried to look into the internet and quite hard to find nice tyre..just wondering if i can use other size like the 16 x 1.50 | 40-305 (not sure this is correct or not) or the 16 x 1 1/4 | 32-349 or the 16 x 1.35| 35-349?
