I went back to a few pages of this thread only. I notice no one mentioned Mongoose. Is it not that good ? My budget is around 400-600. New or used.

Any recommendations ? I cycyle mostly in parks but every now and then I go a little crazy off road a little bit. All of these using O Bike which isn't very kind to the butt and also the ones I manage to find always have been vandalized. Smh.

Nice. Im planning to try my maiden ride there this weekend with my cycling buddies. What worries me is not the climb, but the descent..i wonder if my brakes would do a sufficient job..still thinking which bike to bring, though im more inclined to ride my cap ayam ..any advice bro?

price around below rm2.3k, u can get hollowtech crank 52/42, 9s drivetrain, also carbon fork. chromoly frame also very smooth..

But found 2 versions in Malaysia.
#1 with cables run inside the frame tubing and using SRAM X-7 RD.
#2 with cables run outside the frame and using Shimano Alivo RD.
Which is the genuine one?

BRM200: Bangi Wonderland is ni joke. The climbs are tortoreous. Weather is superhot and at the end of the day heavy rain.

I did not finish the ride. Kantoi at KM156 near simpang tiga Perez as it was already 8.30pm. Super dark and only two of us left.



Our mission is only to make sure one of our pack member (black brompton) to finish before the cut of time (9pm). Three of us are ghost riders anyway.

There is one rider from Klang Foldies finished the race only using by 16” Dahon. Hat off to you brother. My point is do not limit your potential. We can do wonders with folding bike. Do not let the size of the wheels intimidate you. 😊

new to bike communities and actually got myself an used tern verge.
i am thinking to change the crankset first. Did some searching and reading some blogs/forums. Final stage should be upgrade to double chainrings but i would like to go with just 1 single chainring at the time being. therefore seek you guys advices; is it Shimano 105 with 53/39 is a good buy? Can i use Ultegra FD-6800 (11 speeds) to pair with 105 double chainrings in the future?

with Ultegra FD pair with 105 crankset, i believe 2x11 speed is achievable with the correct wheelset.

a new complete bike for dahon like quality i also dont know what to recommend u accept trinx ka2016 or ka2016d. the best value for money bike..

last time i bought my dahon vybe c7a for rm1k, nowdays with tax i dont think u can get one, unless for used one
