Mine is Cigna, 3 speed stormy Archer. Very nice for under 5km flat rides . In progress to put battery on this one too.
I dunno why the change but the seller said he is clearing all his Brompton and clones for smaller, lighter , with more gears Trinx 16", can do both long and short rides.

412 always 14"? can mod to 16" and will impact the size a lot or not?? what's ideal gear inches for such single speed bike?

i like to choose based on wobble/less freeplay on handlepost/frame. u cant go wrong with dahon/tern since both brands are good in building frame with many years of expirience.

i didnt say other brand are not good. java for example, also a good frame. too many choices nowdays on folding bike, just fix ur budget and ur good to go. the key different on folding bike nowdays i saw is groupset/gearing, but that thing u can upgrade later. so, it is good for you to choose good frame rather than good groupset.

about the weight, my bike also didnt get lighten. my tern already 10.25kg, and my doppel is 9.5kg. for me weight is just a number, just enjoy a good frame without worry. good frame with less flex give u expirience riding it like normal bike.anyway, just check regularly any flex on ur bike by tighten the folding part.

for foldable priced below rm1k, its a good start but not the best. try to scout china brand bike like trinx, java, xds or raleigh. those 4 brands also good if ur on tight budget.

if this bike is 16", definitely Brompton killer i would say. this design is very good, and of coz more compact if 16"

Bought my first folding bike just now (Dahon Boardwalk D7)

It is great and accelerate fast but ass is pain after sitting for long time as the saddle is thin and hard. Anyone here has changed their saddle on their Dahon before? Or does it need to take time for my ass to get used to Dahon's saddle? I would like a wider seat that has more cushion.
