Guys, roughly how long I need to burn the earphone? Just got it today, and read the burning FAQ, burning it now.

So far got any significance difference before and after burn in?

Don't you guys find EP630 a little too bassy? Seems cool in the beginning but after about 1 hour or so, it gets too muffled.

Most who claimed the EP630 better are basshead I suppose. hmm.gif Truthfully, there are hardly any unbiased headphone reviews out there because the review might be influenced by the sound taste of the reviewer. Basshead claimed the EP630 is nice, but those are not would say otherwise.

Biased short review from me: I also think the EP630 is bassy, my Phillips SHE8500 produces more clarity although less bass. I prefer clarity more than bass hmm.gif

Many people using the Phillips SHE9500, while I'm using the SHE8500. It got case to keep my earphone

bass or clarity is a matter of adjusting the EQ.. try it with SRS Audio Sink

Added on October 19, 2008, 2:23 amfound few eBay sellers one selling 2 units in vacume pack for approx RM53

A good earphone does not need EQ adjustment. Some refuse to play with the EQ because they want to keep music as it is in original form instead of distort the music. EP630 is bassy for me, although its fine with other listeners. Reducing bass in EQ will distort your music, which I prefer not to do.

The EP630s in eBay are located in China, and sell at half the local price. Come on, by common sense if its cheap and located in China, you know its too good to be true - I believe they are fake EP630. In Malaysia also has many fake EP630s circulate in our market. It is hard to find original ones, even in Lowyat Plaza the retail shops there were fooled to think they were selling original EP630s until the buyers found out they're fake actually.

I maybe wrong however, as the eBay seller has POWERSELLER batch on his/her chest

I bought my EP630 for RM99 from one of the big IT shop at Low Yat... Wonder where can find it for less... So, is RM99 considered expensive & is it original? Any idea how to see if it is fake?

I'm using it with my SONY NW-E015F. Using it with EQ, Clear Stereo & the works "ON". Guess it's not considered a good earphone?

Anyway, I kind of like the sound... sounds quite clear & of course the bass. However, after using for about a 2 months I suddenly realise there somthing missing from the sound quality. Don't know what it is cause I'm not an audiophile. Didn't realise this before...maybe it's because I was using the SONY MDR-EX55 - which I think doesn't sound good after using this EP630.

Now thinking of changing. Any idea how is the new EP830?
