i got mine (ep630) last week for rm95
the bass is superb and i simply think its worth every penny if not worth more then you pay for those hesitants, dont think twice, go lowyat and buy. and if you go to the apple shop at the ground floor there you'll notice they're selling it at RM189 dont be fooled |

Yup, Lowyat plaza ground floor shops are mostly like that, selling at highly inflated price. Next to Apple store is another shop that used to be 'official' Creative store where I bought my Creative ZVM. It also sells the EP 630 at over than RM100. If you go to upper floors, you will find that if the higher you climb, the cheaper most prices at most shop will become. ALL IT located at top above floor, and I surveyed that most its prices are lower than shops that located 'lower' than ALL IT. This is basic economics only. All over the world the patterns are same

The EP 630 reached my doorstep yesterday and I've burned it around 15 hours. When first tested out of box without burning, vocal sounds hiss at high. Now it the effect gone already. The bass is stronger than my current Phillips SHE8500 (more expensive RM85 from ALL IT Kajang). What I like about this EP 630 is that I can listen it nicely with my mp3 player ZVM without distorting the equalizer. Listening to music as it is, distortion not required. This is so unlike SHE8500 where I need to modify the equalizer to make it sounds better. Usually I end up using 'pop' equalizer preset for SHE8500. In contrast EP 630 sounds awesome without using equalizers, presets, or bass boost whatsoever. Also alot more comfortable to wear than Phillips SHE8500 and has better cable too. Only the bass is bit excessive. All in all however, this EP 630 actually I bought as present to my girlfriend, not for my own use actually I'm getting Koss KSC 75 for myself anyway This post has been edited by Dry Pillow: Oct 11 2008, 07:12 PM |

One aspect that Bijou might be superior to EP630 is the clarity. The bass no idea yet EP630 wins over ATH CK32? Wow, surprising that Creative Labs can produces such quality budget IEM. I always thought that Audio Technica is a premium brand in headphones, you know like the Sennheiser This post has been edited by Dry Pillow: Oct 13 2008, 09:11 AM |
