One South/Mines ...seems a lot of middle eastern/arab passengers, always get.

Might be coming soon...but then...for sure some customers will complain and accuse we press the I'm Here button early. Especially those that tulan kena the cancellation and waiting time charge. I'm also curious how GRab in Singapore resolve these kind of situations... check GPS?

Perhaps the CR can be modified to become refresh every 2 or 3 days? Or even refreshed every xx number of trips (like our DR system)?

Ahh but then run into another famous Grab rider problem.....wrong/inaccurate pickup location. Even if customer put wrong, they will still complain/blame you/1* you once they kena late charges.

Yalor, really regret not driving yesterday evening, I failed to connect the mid autumn festival and surge in demand. Funny thing is when I started going driving at 830pm, first two jobs, customer cancelled (30 seconds after booking)....somemore one of them was a $5 GS (1st one, so no match) biggrin.gif

Ideally they should already be there, but if not at least give them 2-3 mins before chasing them. Normally I just put "Hello Im here" when I reached the lobby, to serve as a timestamp in case they exceeded 5 mins and need to cancel. In your case I can also understand why the rider irritated if she saw that message if you sent it right after you arrived (even though she should already have been there).

Mentari court just three weeks ago I dropped off an indo girl with luggage inside to her block....since I saw she had luggage I told the guard this girl got heavy bag, can let in or not...he just rudely told me to park next to guardhouse, come out of car and sign in for pass.... (she didn't tip me either after helping her with luggage)

Next time know better..

PS: add Flora Damansara to your list of mapren been kicked out? Thinking of been a slumlord there now brows.gif

They havent adapted yet,.....after a while you see la they will say "wait at guard house"....then take >5mins to come from their condo, go down lift and walk outside ....

part timer? I admit next week the days of going out to drive for two hours is over... I mostly drive at least 4 hours each time anyway. in your case...work 1.5 hr more during the off peak can easily accept another 6 jobs and complete, pray you not suey get a no show.

today my 1 cancellation was due to this bangla... he put a condo location... but actual location was somewhere on a main road near a "pintu besar"...wtf?!

so I told him if I can't find him I will cancel. look look around, don't see anyone on the road that looks like a rider. cancel, immediately get another ping. on the way to my new job, pass by him waving to me in a confused look... turns out the pintu besar he was referring to was the arches you see at publika east entrance...

Last Friday two of my no show cancellations were also due to Bangla putting wrong pickup/no answer.

Best one was after sending a girl to some plantation in Dengkil from Cyberjaya, got a ping 2km away, housing estate. reach there, no sign..called, asked for the road name and then it turned out to be somewhere on the other side of Dengkil 6km away... the ONLY reason I didnt cancel was because that trip was to bukit jalil and I really wanted a rider out of that place.

mapren can actually save your AR quest if you're lucky. yes some can make you wait long long... but they are also the ones to take 3-5 ringgit trips. I once managed to chase back 5 jobs in the last hour before Sunday 1159pm because of them 🤣

PS: my theory is they mostly like to stand on the street and order grab, without bothering to reference a landmark like a shop.

Yeah I'm also wondering.....the toll free way is thru Federal highway exit at Western Digital to LDP, or use Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang. Both around 14-15km. Only reason to use toll if both are really jam.

If you blindly follow Waze then its possible it will send you to massive detour. Also better to type in directly the destination into Waze...sometimes customer simply press and select the destination, might put your ping in the middle of a highway.....This I nearly kena today....from Jln Gurney to Setia Sky distance less then 1km, 10 to 15 mins in heavy jam at most. Press the direction from App into Waze...it send me pusing one big round on Jln Tun razak, 6km and 45mins....I was like WTF.....then I saw the drop pin was on the middle of the Jln Tun Razak highway.....Good thing I had just come from Setia Sky...so I knew backtracking couldnt possibly take that long.
