IMHO,

Full time incentive driver will still be affected slightly.
Part time incentive driver will be affected overwhelmingly.
Full time/part time flexi driver will be benefited from trip bonus and potentially higher fare due to lesser drivers.

Just disable the im here button until the driver is within 200m of pick up point. If they are not there yet most likely they wont show themself within a minute.

In fact the rider should only book the car when they are ready at the pick up point. You want us to wait, sure no problem, just pay for it.

That will defeat the purpose of screwing driver.

I might be a new driver but i hv been following this thread since v2. What i see is whenever crapcar changed their app/policy/scheme, they did it to screw drivers.

Afterall, drivers are expendable. Lu tak suka lu keluar.

I always put hello im here upon arrival. The problem is they dont even bother to read or they dont care about it.

Today was a bad day for me because i had to cancelled 5 times: 2 no-shows, 2 wrong pickups, 1 fake booking. Total travel+waiting time wasted was about 1hour. ranting.gif bangwall.gif vmad.gif mad.gif

Drivers were lesser compare to yesterday. I even received ping 3-4km from a camping hotspot. Better go home sleep. I leave all the surge, extra mile bonus and grabshare to u guys. grin.gif

I never took any GS above rm5. Grabcar already the cheapest point-to-point public transport and you still want 30% cheaper? Even the fare is cheaper crap still want to charge us full commission but only give 10% cashback if no match?

That is why you dont simply install app from non-creditable source for your smart phone or pc.

I am a flexi driver with 25% commission rate. I dont think they will waste resources on monitoring my stats. whistling.gif

Further more, it was not my fault to cancel the bookings. Afterall, no one stupid enough to cancel the booking when you already there without solid reason.

Last Friday two of my no show cancellations were also due to Bangla putting wrong pickup/no answer.

Best one was after sending a girl to some plantation in Dengkil from Cyberjaya, got a ping 2km away, housing estate. reach there, no sign..called, asked for the road name and then it turned out to be somewhere on the other side of Dengkil 6km away... the ONLY reason I didnt cancel was because that trip was to bukit jalil and I really wanted a rider out of that place.

mapren can actually save your AR quest if you're lucky. yes some can make you wait long long... but they are also the ones to take 3-5 ringgit trips. I once managed to chase back 5 jobs in the last hour before Sunday 1159pm because of them 🤣

PS: my theory is they mostly like to stand on the street and order grab, without bothering to reference a landmark like a shop.

Common answer I get from those stupid riders:-
1. Just put the name of the taman or jalan and expect us to know he exact location.
2. Put the building/shop name opposite the street because he/she can see it from where he/she stand.
3. Put the building/shop name at xxxx but he/she is actually waiting at building/shop with same name at yyyy.

seriously, can these riders pls use a little bit of their brain?

It was 5 cancellations. 2 of them put a wrong pickup location and their actual location was very far from me. That is why i said it was my bad day.

such a note is not helpful if the driver is not familiar with the area.

I always tell my riders to use easy recognizable landmark/shopname for pickup if they want to be found fast because no drivers familiar with all places in klang valley.

removal of daily cr requirement is a dumb move. A lot of drivers will abuse it just to make sure their ar>80%. They will be tempted to do it when bad luck strikes.

Good thing is we no longer needed to drive around to find the rider if they put a wrong pickup location. Say if they put pick up at entrance A but waiting at entrance B, they can either walk to entrance B or we cancel them after 5min. rclxm9.gif

the countdown clock begins the moment we reach pickup point according to waze. period. The rest is rider's problem. thumbup.gif

I always tell my rider that grab app tipu u. It is just like u order food at a busy food court and ask them how long u need to wait. They always answer u a hugely under estimated number becausr u will guarantee cancel the order if they tell u the actual estimated number.

I also tell them we driver are victim too. Play kesian a bit and let them blame grab for gaming both driver n rider. If they agree with our point of view then it could avoid getting a lot of 1*.

Grab dies better than i die. Hehe.

Just kena a fake booking to klia. Bloody hell he cancelled me when i almost reached his pickup point. Wasted 6km of petrol. mad.gif bangwall.gif

Cant grab just implement cancellation charges to prevent this kind of shit?
