QUOTE(blackrepent @ Nov 14 2017, 10:23 AM) I belive this is because that place got no internet connection or your app problem. Just close app and restart app. After that can press drop off. If no internet then move to better conection area. Also check if got latest app update before you start. My experience if not update i dont get ping. Mine is iphone. NOthing to do with connection...I same case as the that guy last week, cannot drop off, "contacting server". Everything else can, can surf internet, can whatsapp, Gmap online, waze etc etc. All with the latest updated version of the app. Last week their app really diu and got many many problems for drivers WHILE on the job. Not just this, also got GPS glitch etc etc. Sometime you driving pax then no connection. You will auto unavailable. I think this will affect incentive because you dont notice untill drop off time. If you got offer office job 3-4k will you stop grab full time and take the job? I feel the frustration we drivers facing. Is it worth the money? Dont feel so bad. We are forced to do it for money so taking all the crap comes natural with this job. Noticed all these problems started when they changed their map provider (Gmap to HereweGo). And also secondary cause, maybe related to change to daily AR for KV drivers, their live incentive app STILL got same problem as one month ago. |

QUOTE(ikanair @ Nov 14 2017, 11:19 AM) If check using Grab Rider apps, distance to KLIA is shorter by 10km-20km, Dont use Grab Rider app, check in the in app Airport incentive itself, they show for each category which part of the map is covered.example :Federal Hotel - Grab 44km, google map 58km In one stoke, nearly all airport bonus got eliminated Shown below is the airport bonus under $7 and $4 topup category Still laughable....if you are in TTDI, you only get $69 to go KLIA. From Batu CAves..... $72. No topup for USJ and Subang Jaya folks. This post has been edited by moosekaka: Nov 14 2017, 11:33 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(yhtan @ Nov 14 2017, 11:47 AM) Going to airport confirm less than 50km, empty car go back also need to pay toll RM4.70. if empty car back, thats $27 per hour MAX (pray you dont get speed trap). Total distance back to USJ about 100km. Per km cost is about RM0.20 for fuel and maintenance, total RM20. Net earnings going to airport = RM27.30 If normal traffic condition require 30-40mins to reach KLIA. |

QUOTE(JohnL77 @ Nov 14 2017, 09:28 PM) New Myvi seems less sexy now.. A few extra safety features compared to Iriz. Handling don't know yet. Wait for review. Will it have tin kosong feeling? Or no tin kosong feeling, but still feel less solid than Iriz? Perodua cars, you are getting Daihatsu/Toyota platform, tech and engine. For your Bezza case... How? Are you happy with the purchase? Or you think should have bought Proton instead? I sit Bezza once only, ok la... Not so tin kosong feeling like Viva.. But still doesn't feel very solid... Proton, ever since the shift to fully local designed cars, really dropped people's perception and confidence because dont have the cachet of foreign tech (except handling by Lotus, which is still foreign). But silver lining, Geely purchase actually make people optimistic about injection of modern tech again into Proton. Just as well, because due to the previous decade of quality problems, it would have taken a generation to change people's minds once the perception developed. QUOTE(JohnL77 @ Nov 14 2017, 10:03 PM) So? Nobody knows yet how long the new engines will last. But from what I can see, Gen 2s are still around. Jepunis means never fail? Jepunis quality has been falling in recent years. Lots of recalls. True, but at the end of the day, if you are talking about car ownership, then the major expense is the car depreciation and how well it holds its value in the market. Based on resale value and market share position, perodua cars clearly have a better image among malaysian consumers. Why is debatable, but the numbers arent. And tin kosong is still tin kosong. Collision with Proton car, the Perodua occupants more likely to die. Malaysian consumers are funny. They value the longevity of their cars more than their own lives. Geely is silver lining for Proton? Hmm.. I'm waiting for their response to the new Myvi. |

QUOTE(JohnL77 @ Nov 14 2017, 10:07 PM) If not for Iriz, there won't be Bezza and new Myvi. Perodua will continue selling old tech from Daihatsu platform. Old Myvi after so many years only want to put ABS. I think Geely will first share their MPV/SUV platform for proton, really it makes the most sense now as you see there is a demand for this segment. Im sure Exora doesnt really count as full size SUV. Also crossover SUV like honda HRV, BRV...But good job for new Myvi. On paper it looks to be the best for the price right now. Waiting for Proton's response... Probably the only thing that will keep them a float for now is Saga, Personally and Ertiga for those who want more space. |

QUOTE(willemng @ Nov 14 2017, 10:10 PM) From a myvi owner point of view. Aiya...why always talk of handling, our Malaysian roads and highways really not suitable for 'performance' driving la...dont tell me you were one of those drivers always suddenly appear on my rear end, light flashing, tail gate for me to GTFO??Saga flx is much more fun and safe to drive. Handling good and Corner also steady, if is stock myvi, rolling on the street already. Other than that FC really nothing much that perodua can win proton car performance. Bezza bezza bezza, know why called bezza? Because beza than other solid built car. Lol just a joke to all my fellow bezza owner. Also...the more 'solid' the car...the more heavy...hence FC down ... QUOTE(JohnL77 @ Nov 14 2017, 10:13 PM) Any review yet for new Myvi? I itchy want to test drive. But no real plans to buy. My Iriz just 2 years old. Sell now, after new Myvi launched, sure rugi. Better to use it until it dies. That's another way to get value out of the car. I saw at the Perodua shop, official launch 16 Nov. so Thursday go showroom and see, but dont think they let you touch yet Why Malaysians prefer Perodua is obvious. Because Proton fucked up big time in the past. And because Perodua made super cheap cars like Kancil, Viva and Axia. But I can see, everyday there's more and more new Protons in Klang Valley. Different story in Kuching. Damn susah want to find Proton on the road in Kuching. |

QUOTE(JohnL77 @ Nov 14 2017, 10:23 PM) I don't think it's that bad actually. Especially with the sportier body kits. Bezza.. No cure. Put body kit also still looks... Don't know what to say.. you know bezza they literally just added a boot to the axia/ayla platform right? the daihatsu Ayla platform was never meant to be a sedan.Ooh.. 2005 Myvi got ABS? The more expensive variant? This post has been edited by moosekaka: Nov 14 2017, 10:32 PM |
