Most of my pickup at high rise buildings took at least 5 mins waiting time but I never msg them that 5min is the max waiting time. So today I decided to msg one of them about the max waiting time policy because she was not there yet upon arrival. I can feel that she was not happy when she boarded my car. Guess what? My rating dropped from 4.96 to 4.92.   

Been a grab driver for 3 weeks and I was able to maintain my rating in range of 4.94-4.97 in every rating update. So far I am doing my best to provide a nice service to the rider but these frakers really take it for granted. Fraking bitch! Next time I will just cancel you when i see you walking toward me. I am not your fraking private driver!

Guys try reading the fine print. It states that only AR & CR will reset back to zero every day. So as long as your DR at the end of the day is still above 4.7 you are still gucci I guess..

At least that is what i understand and hope regarding the DR for new scheme.

It does look like grab counts by the hour means if u hit the incnetives within this hour. You r safe and if u cancel next hour - next hour burn

I will still take RM3 job, provided it require me less than 10min to complete and able to hit trip bonuses.

Too heavy incentive hunting? the incentive payment isn't so lucrative as before already. For last week, my fare collected gross RM700, net RM560, incentive reimburse net RM280, so Grab just subsidize RM40 only.

One strategy I can foresee is that morning and daytime fulltimers will accept all jobs to build up bullets, then use them during evening rush hour, when or if unlucky they use it up early, go home and offline. So then riders find that 7pm onwards why no drivers and fare surge 99 for the few flexi drivers on the road. And as for KL city center....better just go take teksi again, good luck finding a grab driver.

those 1:2  fare:incentive ratio drivers are the ones who will be wiped out with this system. it was not the intention of Grab to pay them all incentive and have them only take short trips.. rather it's to compensate those times we get $4 jobs but then get stuck in hour jam.

'Building bullets' is precisely the reason why they have to change the system. Better just to adjust mindset to "earn xx amount a day, accept most jobs". CR no control sometimes, just like 1*. If that day is your bad luck to have a lot of no shows....call it a day and go home with fare collected. Too many of those days....consider gantung kunci until systems is changed (hopefully). I expect this wont be the last change Grab will be making.

today i fetch one lady.
she say she waiting 20 monites, no car. the fare is only RM6 at 830am.
then i explain may be some driver very choosy, then she raise her voice, say why crapcar drivers like teksi driver, choose destination

then i try to mention incentive and next week onwards could be worse, but she dont let me continue, and keep telling why without incentive we cannot do , bla bla bla

so i am think if next week onwards, crapcar being regulated and under SPAD, then we cannot ignore or cancel the trip as we wish, so still workable ??

as crapcar driver, of course i cannot accept her reason. how come how fare is fixed and stuck in the jam for say 1 hour. if without incentive, we want to drive wor ???

but as a rider, if driver keep focusing incentive, then how ar ?

so few month later change incentive structure again to accommodate same platform like teksi once crapcar have their own license ??

No need create fake booking already, there is some customer book and don't even bother to look at the apps, just place it on the table or pocket and wait u to call. Some even told me HP auto shutdown and unable to restart

Just now even 12-2pm i also don't dare to take Grab for lunch, knowing they increase to HP block. The last time i order at P block and any kind of driver would do, staying there for 5 mins and spinning left right, cancelled half way knowing i would wait, third time only can get one, ended up wasted 20min looking at the apps. I use promo code but will tips RM1 on top on the free ride.

Their failure on educating rider has strong effect on them now, u relax on customer side, u losing on driver side. It is like a weighing scale.

So the solution for those part timer = drive after peak time = 8pm onward and choose only high fare = LOW FARE surge/ no driver accept

SINCE we can cancel whatever ping ( no incentive )

OR choose flexi-ambassador(20%)
then be flexi from monday to sunday

2 way for part timer
1. choose flexi and be flexi for the week
2 choose incentive , aim high fare week day , aim incentive weekend.

THAT MEAN

GA incentive quite sure to get high fare on peak hour     

WINNER = GRAB because lower incentive paid out ( more flexi = more income , but the cycle turn back when less driver , less passenger )

LOSER = DRIVER because overall everyone earn lesser / except flexi possible earn more
( if no flexi on peak hour = no driver on peak hour/GA can't earn incentive = grab need to find way to compensate driver = uber way of trip from morning to Zzz for rmZzz which they were currently TEST for 20% comission return last few week << just notice this )

LOSER =CUSTOMER high fare , lower supply

Ask Grab WHY haha.
