02 Zinc users only 5 listed ar? No new ones popping around? Could it be that Dopod 838 pro dropped price or something. I see a few new users recently......

Any problems with Zinc so far? Bugs etc...?

Well was thinking of getting 838pro last time but got really nice deal on zinc ... so bought zinc ...

well the 1st rom was buggy like always ... then upgraded to the rom that i am using now better ... but in o2 malaysia they come out wz a new ROM for malaysia only ... havent try that yet ... maybe end of this month ...

Kaiser is coming right? WM6? ... o2 oso is considering upgrading zinc to WM6 ... well they done it to Life last week ...

i emailed o2 about the wm6 upgrade for zinc issue..
they totally didn't answer my question..

bascally i asked if o2 was gonna provide a WM6 upgrade not only because they should, but also because Dopod has confirmed a release for the 838pro too..

This is a free update to all current Xda Atom Life users, we will keep user informed online at our offical website (www.seeo2.com) once the upgrade is ready to be released to public. Kindly keep a look out for it.

Aside from that, O2 Asia has no plans to upgrade other models launched before the Xda Atom Life at this point of time.

I see. Maybe 838 Pro monipolised the market as it came out earlier.

Based on Monny's reply from O2, It doesn't sound fair to O2 Zinc users to not be granted a WM6 Upgrade. If Dopod can do it for a device which was released 5-6mnths before the Zinc, why can't O2?

yes i have upgrade my rom, but the CEstar seem have problem, any recomend for other chinese word software?

i like the zinc.. i really do..
but, cause o2's marketing sucks, i'm riding the dopod train now...

i heard from a retailer that a new device from HTC with WM6 might be coming out somewhere end of june, not sure if it's the Kaizer.

if HTC kaiser, or the rebranded dopod version, comes out all black like this
then its worth it man.. but if its like this,
don't really fancy it....

and if u noticed, the shift key is somehting like the zinc where it eats the other keys and the left shift key kinda far away...

and this is sooo OFF TOPIC

oh, and dopod haven't even announced that they will be coming wth this model... its still only a HTC in the making
