yup there are lots of devices wz sliding keyboard now ... eten, asus oso have ... well seems like in UK they wont be releasing zinc since it didnt pass their telco std ... what is that i oso dunno

Not in the near future bro. My current job is too rough for a pda phone. Maybe when i'm back working in an office job i might consider

well yup i have updated mine on the 2nd day i got this baby ... well better now i think since it dont hang quite often now ... my friend oso have not complaint much bout the hang after his update ... well as for urs did u installed any sw currently? & when does ur zinc hangs???

WWE_RC4070131 firmware, wonder when will o2 release a WM6 firmware, I hope they will

Everything is OK, really like this particular model, but I do have some minor complain with my unit.

Even on the highest volume setting, I think the loudspeakers are not too loud , is it normal? (the alarm1 sound esp. is practically useless to serve as an alarm LOL, even on the highest vol setting ") And when I dial someone on loudspeaker mode, you know where it goes tut tut... tut tut, usually by the second or third tut it goes muffled (as in you cant hear the tut anymore), is that normal as well?

Other than that everything is ok, got used to the keypad, installed a whole bunch of useless software on my phone (yeah going to uninstall some of it and reinstall stuff that I really will use)

BTW talking about Softwares, anyone know any good dictionary software?

well dont have the problem of the loudspeaker just sometimes my bluetooh go crazy ... can connect but no stream to bluetooh dunno maybe coz of wisbar that i installed ...

well yup better not to put lots of useless sw although u have lots more space in the mini sd ...

Skin wrap my zinc today @ skin gadget lowyat cost me RM50 ... waited around 20 min to wrap it ... the workmanship is good .. you can see it below ... maybe not that clear since i wrap it wz clear skin

I'm considering these 2 models, Atom Life & Zinc.
After so many of the Zinc users complain about the "hang" problem, is this really a good pda phone to consider? Or may be the Atom Life is better?

well actually it is up tu the user, there are diff about the above 2 ... life is much more faster in term of the cpu speed 624Mhz & ROM capasity 1024mb wz no sliding keyboard... while as zinc the cpu is 520Mhz & 128mb ROM wz keyboard ...
well to tell u the truth i have been using 2 xda o2 products & yup o2 devices is buggy wz the 1st release firmware always they will release a new firmware and eventually they will fix bugs in the releses ...
As for the hang in zinc i think wz the latest WWE_RC4070131 firmware some bug esp the hang have been resolved.

but last it will always come to ur budget & ur usage

cruzzmz.. is the new rom solved the time always change back to pacific US -8 problem

dunno bout that coz i think i set both +8 ... but then that is just small matter better than hang all the time
