Anyone knows if I can add in the mobility pack which gives a webe mobile plan for RM49 later on or must it be added at time of UniFi application?

When selecting the option during the call to 100, you selected the one for products, promotions and subscription something like that? Did they reverify with you the SMS and when you received it?

Gave them a call earlier but that department is closed, weekends only 8.00am until 5.30pm. Will try tomorrow, hopefully can get it.

Will the BTU be changed or the old one can still support until 100mbps?

So for those who did not receive the SMS, how do we start the conversation/request? Say we want to add RM10 to upgrade the speed? I don’t think there’s a name for this promo/plan?

Just called, after they put me on hold for a while they said I am entitled for this offer. I guess the SMS are sent in batches, but like what was mentioned, the accounts probably already has a flag or they check for certain criteria to determine eligibility.

By the way, when he was reading the T&C, he mentioned that a technician will come over to install the new modem as he said my current modem only supports 50mbps and lower. So I believe those that have not been upgraded are pending for equipment change.

Since now contract renewed, I can request for new HyppTV STB right, the one that runs on Android? I’m still having the old one ever since UniFi launched and that unit is really laggy. It’s not faulty yet though, so not sure if TM will be willing to replace it?

Once this upgrade is done, I guess I’ll cancel off Astro since it’s also too pricey and not fully utilised, then just live with HyppTV.

Have not clarified but shouldn’t be too big of a deal if I’ll be using the HyppTV.

But logically speaking:

100mbps (RM299) + Ruby (RM30) + Jumbo (RM60) - RM200 = RM189

The discount of RM200 is perpetual so I don’t see what’s the issue here? They are still charging the RM60 for Jumbo every month, just the RM200 discount is making the total monthly fee to be RM189.

Which is why they do not allow to cancel the Jumbo or STD20, otherwise the RM200 discount will be taken away.

Unless I’m understanding things differently here.. hmm.gif

I never thought of it in such complicated way. I only made sure I asked a very direct question, “Will the monthly charge still be RM189 after the 2 years contract ended?” and the CS I spoke through on the phone said yes as long as Jumbo pack or STD20 is not removed/cancelled.

Can’t agree more, I only had one replacement since the lunch of UniFi, that’s about 7 years.

I wonder will we get the Huawei or Alcatel Lucent?
