Which Speedtest did you use? TM's or the speedtest.net?
Sometimes the speedtest just hang. Not sure how much should i trust it.
My speed is intermittent but not as bad as yours (DL lower than UL).

I forgot to mention that, all this while, I am using wifi for speedtest, which are usually good and stable. I know LAN has better speed but my LAN connection of my notebook ada problem.
Using local servers? Which speedtest website?

wanna ask what are the freebies/upgrade i will get from TM if my current RM179 of 50mbps is upgraded to RM189 of 100mbps?
anyone care to share?
in terms of speed 100mbps, what else? std20? or ???

I suspect the privileges including activation, BTU upgrade/unlock code and port number.
I doubt it allows them to have a high broadband speed with low price, to avoid abuse la.

HyppTV is not free but they give discounts as part of the package. So when you subscribe to unifi, it gives the impression that you will have free TV channels la. Too bad we cannot remove it, otherwise most of us would remove it already to reduce the price (unless you don't have Astro lo). On the other hand, if HyppTV could get some of Astro's key channels, I am sure there is no need to have Astro already.

Finally upgraded from 30mbps to 100mbps. Quite surprised when I asked TM Point what are my options.

Was given two options :

1. +RM10/month upgrade to 50mbps or
2. +Rm10/month straight to 100mbps

...and of course I chose the later option 

I went to TM Point around 3.30PM and got my completion SMS around 6.40PM.

Checked the OCC and they already showed this :

For those going for the RM10 upgrade from RM179 50mbps to RM189 100mbps, the total discount should be RM200 (Promo 150 + Special 50) but so far many or all of us only have the RM150 discount in our package after the upgrade order is complete. Have to call TM to remind them to put in the Special RM50 UniFi discount.

I'm paying RM209 for 50Mbps + HyppTV Jumbo Pack. Will need some proves (i.e. Unifi bill) from you to submit a complaint to MCMC for TM's unfair treatment

I have try since last week, i called many times, initially i honestly told the CS i didn't received the sms, then the CS immediately said i must received the sms first. After this i read someone 'cheat' the CS telling the sms received so i tried that, CS is getting smart & checking through the system, come back to me i'm not selected for this promotion. Then this morning i walk in TMpoint, the CS pula told me this plan is only valid for 2 years, after 2 years the price will be reverted to normal. 
That's why i wonder why info is so inconsistent.

Yes, they have to give you the new router. It’s yours. Don’t have to change if you have something better.

Don’t think they would if yours is still working. Would,recommend you getting your own router if possible.

Im on 50mbps RM139 with free call and hpptv package..got it as a try and buy customer on their launch date..

50mbps is after free upgrade..before is VIP20

From my bill details

internet 299-150=149 ( amount same as existing)
hypptv 30+60= 90 (  discount RM50 then 40)

149+90=239....149+40=189

guys, my bill for this month is RM201.67 before GST, shouldn't it supposed to be RM189 ? I have the Unifi Pro

my total fees for HyppTV is RM116, UniFi RM85.67 = RM201.67

Just relating my experience with my first bill.

My first bill received after upgrading to the 100Mbps plan under RYE was also confusing for me. I too was informed that I will be charged RM 189 + GST = 200.34. However, my first bill showed an amount of some RM 10 more. Like others, my bill has a list of what looked like amounts charged for previous and current plan, with various discounts applied as well. I figured that the next bill should show the exact amount, with more straightforward itemized billings, and I was right.

So, I'm glad that I didn't bother to call up TM for clarification and saved myself time and possibly sanity. Also the RM 10 extra is not going to break the bank.

To those having received their first bills, and trying to understand why you're charged higher. My advice, don't bother, and look at the second bill, then call up TM should there be any discrepancies found.

I've seen some people are fighting TM for a ridiculously small amount, less than RM 5, I just can't understand why even bother subscribing to Unifi, when there are plenty of cheaper pre-paid wireless broadband as viable alternatives.

currently on UNIFI 50 (free upgrade from UNIFI 30), anyone know can i downgrade my plan to UNIFI 30 price at RM139. I am still in contract period (already 12 month, remain another 12 month). if can downgrade to UNIFI 30 at RM139 with recontract (24 months) and without any penalty, i do not mind to downgrade (can save RM40 every month, from 179 to 139).. not heavy user, so UNIFI 30 should be sufficient for me.
