If do the floor lagi syok... I had my saga lmst done for floor, roof, 4 doors, boot n bone... Now with cc5 really can enjoy the sound system... But when even on the aircon will spoil everything... Cos I chg bigger compressor... Whole car will shaking no matter how I tune the idle...

Cc5 195/50/15 really good in handling... silent n comfort... Grip not yet try out

Ya, haha do full set sound proof very syok. oh really , CC5 not bad with the price. But CC5 lose in grip and wet performance with Triplemax smile.gif . 195 size really handling good

Just to share perhaps can add to the first page on Plus and Minus compared to Iriz:

Minus:
1. Iriz has map and cabin lamps, Persona only cabin lamp.
2. Iriz has adjustable rear seat headrests
3. Iriz used to come with 195/55/15 tyres vs Persona's 185/60/15 tyres.
4. Iriz used to come with auto up/down driver window, Persona only auto down.

Plus (what I feel is):
1. Persona has remote boot opening (does Iriz have this? I remember their Premium key is diff)
2. Persona interior is two-toned vs all-black in Iriz
3. Persona Multi-info display is white-on-dark blue vs Iriz's orange-on-black
4. All other Persona plus points as outlined wink.gif

Just my 2 cents to help those deciding to differentiate the Iriz from Persona besides the additional boot.

You comparing old iriz ? New Iriz is change a lot of thing. Almost identical to Persona. smile.gif

Yup, this is true. In fact, the new Iriz lost out alot compared to the persona. Especially at the highest spec you only get semi-leather seats.

For me what i feel is really necessary to add to the Persona is:
1. Decent armrest
2. Map Lights
3. Rear seat headrests
4. Auto-up driver's window

Other than that, dare i say the Persona is probably the best B-segment out there and i'm not saying that just for the price point, it is smartly designed. Take for example:

1. You auto-fold your mirrors, they auto-unfold as your speed builds up past 20kmh. Freaking smart.
2. Your passenger unlocks one door (by pulling the door handle once to unlock, again to open), and after they alighted, your car auto-locks itself after you speed past 20kmh. Freaking smart.
3. You pull your wiper stalk to spray wiper wash on your windscreen, and your wiper wipes twice. Few seconds later, it auto-wipes again another time just to be sure it's clean. Freaking smart.
4. You put your wiper speed at the highest (fastest) setting, and as you slow to a stop at the traffic light, instead of letting your fast moving wipers annoy you, your wiper automatically adjusts its speed to slow down. Once you speed back up, it wipes fast again. Freaking smart.
5. You left your key in the boot after you close your boot. Your car honks. Freaking smart.

These are just a few examples, and mine is a Premium btw. For these examples, Proton could've just used a much simpler system instead of smartly designing it to suit users better. At this price-point and segment, such control systems are rare for trivial items like this.

Those freaking smart feature does impress me when I find these out even for standard have most of the feature u've mentioned, even some new higher end car don't have such function...

What I feel necessary add for MT is the foot rest and auto0cruise maybe since this is a good car in highway

Why not bring to SC if the car is less than a year? I believe it is still covered under warranty right?

Anyway guys, does the central locking/unlocking button on the dash backlit? It's stupidly dark when you're driving at night and someone not familiar to your car is trying to unlock the doors for you.

It's backlit for the front parking aid activation button, it's backlit for the hazard light toggling switch, it's backlit for the ESP deactivation switch, but why not the freaking central locking/unlocking button???  mad.gif
*
mine std CVT gt backlit for central locking.. but if the door is unlock then no light. if the door is lock, then gt light. think so. seldom drive at night. will check again.

Got a few more smart features i think should be the same with persona (mine's iriz)

This is not so smart feature that all standard car should have. Turning on map light manually but u forgot to turn it off. After u lock the car the map light also turn off to prevent batt drain

Oh yeah for those model without auto light the speedo will sound beep non stop to indicate that u have not turn off the lights after u remove the car keys after ignition is off.

Individual indicator for all 4 door sensors, boot and bonet. Annoys u to death if u decide to continue driving. It stops beeping when u stop the car.

Car key and 12v batt check when u start the car

The high beam is not mechanically toggled on/off. Its a single switch. It will return to low beam next time u turn on to prevent u from turning on the headlamp with high beam. Fog lamps defaults to off after u start the car.

was your passenger less than 50kg? i have a problem with mine also. whenever my wife sits, it never detected. but whenever someone heavier than her sits, the sensor works. sent to sc for checking they say nothing wrong so i assume if someone light sits in front it will not detect.

See the attached picture...

I'm talking about this central locking/unlocking button which does not have any backlit at all. When the doors are locked, only the orange LED lights up, the door symbol is not backlit.

Why can't they make all the buttons to have backlit when the lights are turned on? Or am I the only one with this problem? hmm.gif
