Why not bring to SC if the car is less than a year? I believe it is still covered under warranty right?

See the attached picture...

I'm talking about this central locking/unlocking button which does not have any backlit at all. When the doors are locked, only the orange LED lights up, the door symbol is not backlit.

Why can't they make all the buttons to have backlit when the lights are turned on? Or am I the only one with this problem?  hmm.gif
*
Mine is not lit as well. Only the orange LED will light up once the car is locked.

No idea why they want to implement this way. Maybe no space to put the 2nd light, haha?

how to decide between standard, executive or premium  icon_question.gif
want the reverse camera on premium but not the navigation  laugh.gif

I think it is better to decide on what accessories you want to get on the car.

Like my case, I chose Premium due to:
- Additional air bag
- Keyless entry system and Push Start-Stop
- Reverse camera

My minimum requirement was Executive since I really want the multimedia control on the steering wheel but after some thought why not just top up 5k to get premium version.

Of course some people may opt Standard and add their desired accessories but I am a lazy person haha tongue.gif

I never use the Navigation from day 1 since I prefer to use Waze.

To add on, after getting the Premium version , I do appreciate the lane switching feature (only available in Premium variant if I remember correctly) as well.

lane switching? can explain a bit more?
*
The lane signal stick (don't know the term. could be switch)

Instead of fully press down when you want to turn left (Left signal), you just press down a little bit (about half way point), the indicator will start light up on for 5 times (the tak-tak sound only 5 times).

Useful when want to switch lane. No need to fully press down and pull up again when I want to switch between different lanes.

anyone still waiting for their car? I waited for nearly a month now since I booked my exec variant. so sad.

I already contact proton customer care, they said that need to wait a month from the loan approval date. 2 more weeks to go. phew.
*
A month of waiting time for exec variant. Wow.....

I remember I bought at April for Premium variant took me about a week to collect the car after I pay the booking fee.

Map light? What is that? The lock/unlock button light here is referring to the orange light right?

Like Maxwell suggested, GY triplemax is quite good, my ori was Silverstone, then I changed to Triplemax for about 180 per pcs, Noise reduced, much better grip in both dry and wet, going through puddle water really well too! So far I'm very satisfied with this Triplemax, I feel its quite underrated...

Initially was planning to go for CC6, but CC6 was an entry level tire, grip may not be that good especially on wet surface.. so gave this Triplemax a try which is a mid-range tire (Silverstone was mid-range too)
*
I am quite noob in tires, how do you differentiate entry or mid-range tire? Price?
Previously before driving this new Persona, I was using Toyo tires Nanoenergy 3, which was recommended by my family. Looking at the Toyo tires website, I hardly can differentiate the level of this model.

Today sent the car for 2nd service.

Edited: false alarm. The service order did not include GST. Price is the same as last time.

Anyone knows when YES 4G started to give us 32GB of data monthly?

I just checked my balance today and shocked that they double our quota. Hopefully stays that way till it expires.

I notice in the cold morning the dashboard is more rattling sounds.... Damping kits had been installed... In the hot afternoon the sounds become less or sometimes not noticeable...

Hmm. Mine is quite the opposite. Cold morning low to no dashboard noise and when hot (after work as car parked under sun whole day) can hear more clearly. I did not do the IP kit though.

Car at workshop for repairs and asked them to fix the dashboard rattle as well. Will observe again when I can get the car back.

Proton Edar at Jalan Makloom, Penang quote me 3 weeks for repairs at the rear bonet and bumper. Long waiting list for repair. Seems good business for them haha laugh.gif

For Penang Island I can recommend the Official Service Center at Jalan Makloom.

Had my car fixed there due to an accident end of last year and the paintwork is quite good in my opinion. Barely noticed any difference.

Only downside is that they have to repair so many cars till to the point that replacing and repainting the rear bumper and bonet took me 3 weeks waiting time.

Also, I also asked them to check my dashboard rattling but their foreman say cannot detect bangwall.gif . However they managed to resolve a more annoying sound at the back thumbsup.gif so I cannot rate 1 star haha..
