Periodic Inspection message
user posted image
OMG OMG OMG What is this Periodic Inspection? Why like that? what to do? Problem again?
>>Its perfectly fine, our baby just seeking for some attention, usually came at 500km before service due or date, whichever comes first
[quote=alanyuppie,Apr 4 2017, 09:30 AM]Periodic inspection msg is NOT A WARNING. But A REMINDER.

I noticed that when something different appeared at that tiny LED panel beside showing the normal status (like gear mode,  FC level/distance)  ... many drivers felt panicky and think something is going south / wrong. hahha...

Anyway just wanna ask how long does it take to fix the rattling noise by fixing the ip kit if i send to proton sc?
*
The long waited V3 is finally here bruce.gif

Usually SC will takes 2 to 3 days to put in the ip kit, but won't guarantee 100% solve all the noises permanently dry.gif

Ayam faham... 185/60/15 is not that preferable compared to 195... but I already satisfied with 185... wonder if 195 will make it slugglish and obviously more fuel consuming or not hmm.gif

By the way, 185 only have 3 grooves for water evacuation... 195 have 4 grooves, better aquaplanning management? brows.gif

O.o Saturday feel triplemax, haha don't put high hope in noise. Grip u should pay attention.  biggrin.gif I think more worries how much they pay for your trade in, maybe rm 20 per donut.
*
RM20 per donut? I might as well DIY it to an outdoor chair instead dry.gif

Noise wasn't it's forte for this series... but I do read a lot reviews that says this tire is surprisingly quiet thou..
Janji better than Silverstone sudah... bruce.gif

QUOTE(Maxwell6635 @ Aug 9 2017, 10:04 PM)
biggrin.gif haha nvm la, sacrifice a bit comfort , gain more handling and 4 grooves. I also planning to switch to 195 if tyre botak.

Cc5 195/50/15 really good in handling... silent n comfort... Grip not yet try out

QUOTE(Jane's @ Aug 10 2017, 08:21 PM)
Yup, this is true. In fact, the new Iriz lost out alot compared to the persona. Especially at the highest spec you only get semi-leather seats.

For me what i feel is really necessary to add to the Persona is:
1. Decent armrest
2. Map Lights
3. Rear seat headrests
4. Auto-up driver's window

Other than that, dare i say the Persona is probably the best B-segment out there and i'm not saying that just for the price point, it is smartly designed. Take for example:

1. You auto-fold your mirrors, they auto-unfold as your speed builds up past 20kmh. Freaking smart.
2. Your passenger unlocks one door (by pulling the door handle once to unlock, again to open), and after they alighted, your car auto-locks itself after you speed past 20kmh. Freaking smart.
3. You pull your wiper stalk to spray wiper wash on your windscreen, and your wiper wipes twice. Few seconds later, it auto-wipes again another time just to be sure it's clean. Freaking smart.
4. You put your wiper speed at the highest (fastest) setting, and as you slow to a stop at the traffic light, instead of letting your fast moving wipers annoy you, your wiper automatically adjusts its speed to slow down. Once you speed back up, it wipes fast again. Freaking smart.
5. You left your key in the boot after you close your boot. Your car honks. Freaking smart.

These are just a few examples, and mine is a Premium btw. For these examples, Proton could've just used a much simpler system instead of smartly designing it to suit users better. At this price-point and segment, such control systems are rare for trivial items like this.
*
Those freaking smart feature does impress me when I find these out even for standard have most of the feature u've mentioned, even some new higher end car don't have such function...

What I feel necessary add for MT is the foot rest and auto0cruise maybe since this is a good car in highway

Mine no such problem... is it hard to open? Last time have 1 member cannot open the lid at all, then Proton issue a memo to check on all cars when servicing..

Usually I would recommend either Standard or Premium, if u can afford exec, no point for not going for Premium with just few thousand extra for the extra safety and more fancy feature that can't be added at accessory shop.
