What is the connection method for streamyz , unifi lite , unifi fibre
All this services using PPPOE connection or not ?

Unifi lite 10mbps also use it right ?

Hi there, i plan to install unifi at my home. However the agent checked and say fibre unifi is not available at my area, he say he can try unifi lite. May i know what is the difference between unifi fibre and unifi lite? Is the speed stable?

Unifi Lite could be either:

1. Good ol' Streamyx (copper line, using ADSL/ADSL2), which could be 1Mbps/2Mbps/4Mbps/8Mbps depending on your distance & line quality from DSLAM (e.g. cabinet), but upload speed is only up to 512Kbps (0.5Mbps);

or,

2. Unifi Lite (VDSL2, still on copper line) with 10Mbps download & 5Mbps upload.


Monthly fee is RM69 (before 6% SST).

So, ask the agent to properly clarify first (usually he needs to test it onsite at your home).

Hi guys, my line went down to 1.5Mbps max dload speed just now, normally it stays 7-8Mbps on speedtest. Contacted TM for online port reset but the problem still persist. They are sending their technicians over soon. Is there other alternatives to remedy this?

hi guys, i notice that my connection sometime change from vdsl to adsl in the router page and causes no internet connection. do you guys know why?

My wish for 2020 is for SUBB Unifi Lite be upgraded to at least 20Mbps

Upgraded unifi lite to 20M still copper line ... doesn't help much.

Finger-cross that ur area upgraded to fiber line.

I dont even have Unifi 10Mbps for my home area. stucked at Stimix 8mbps

I think unifi 10M is not fiber line.

So ur stimix 8M lebih kurang same as unifi 10M.

May i ask a question

I am using Ugreen Cat6 Ethernet cable.
but in my network connection the Ethernet show connected to 2.4Ghz @unifi.

But my unifi here sometime not stable.
So sometime when ethernet is slow, i need to disable ethernet and use my wifi connect to 5Ghz @unifi(and the speed instantly become fast)

I wonder why when at ethernet 2.4Ghz it is slow, but i switch to 5Ghz it is fast?

But the main question i want ask here is how to configure my ethernet connect to 5Ghz ?
i cant find the setting..

(i prefer use ethernet than wifi, because the radiation things)
