Hi there, i plan to install unifi at my home. However the agent checked and say fibre unifi is not available at my area, he say he can try unifi lite. May i know what is the difference between unifi fibre and unifi lite? Is the speed stable?

QUOTE(Musafir_86 @ Dec 11 2019, 04:49 AM) Unifi Lite could be either: 1. Good 'ol Streamyx (copper line, using ADSL/ADSL2), which could be 1Mbps/2Mbps/4Mbps/8Mbps depending on your distance & line quality from DSLAM (e.g. cabinet), but upload speed is only up to 512Kbps (0.5Mbps); or, 2. Unifi Lite (VDSL2, still on copper line) with 10Mbps download & 5Mbps upload. Monthly fee is RM69 (before 6% SST). So, ask the agent to properly clarify first (usually he needs to test it onsite at your home). Regards. Okay. Thanks for your explanation.
