Hi, anybody know where can i repair side mirror in melaka. cant fold the mirror.

anyone having issues with air con?

The air con output/wind turns very weak (almost no air) occasionally at 1-3. After turning it to 4 and above, the wind capacity usually comes back to normal..not sure if it's some electronic issue or blower..but i went to SC and was told it's the cooling coil problem..costing RM1K (ori) + RM400 labour..

The air is still cold most of the time..and i've also sent the car for air con service (cleaning etc)..but it only worked fine for a month before the problem comes back

A few Forte users recommend go to the Ming Wah Cooler workshop in KL to have the aircond checked, reasonable price. You can google them up.
Even if coil problem, they will service it for you, no need to pay for new one unless really really kong your AC or compressor.

I just had my Forte serviced yesterday, sometimes can hear the knock knock sound coming from the HUD, but cannot reproduce the sound at the SC. Have to observe again.
For the gear jerking when shifting gear, they say they reset the ECU, so have to observe awhile see how. Not much jerk noticed for now.

Hai guys just some updates from my previous post.. sc told me the cable putus dy so have to replace the new one and total $$$ 🔥🔥 for this 😅😅😅

I think i have the same problem as well.. observed the krkk krkk sound for long time dy.. when go to sc can not reproduce the sound.. but this morning i observed that sounds become more clear even more "kasar" like something going to putus dy.. this happen during accelerate at the hill.. the sounds become louder.. otherwise can't really hear.. yeahh mind is start to jerking dy when shifting to lower gear. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Any idea guys?

Hai guys! Just want to share with all.. i have just changed my absorbers front and back today.. for original parts at nearby my house workshop (sunway) total excl labour and gst is rm1052.. SC asking for rm1900++ excl gst and labour.. i guess worth of buying 😝😝😝

What and where is Pilot/Evening bulb located? Is this Daytime Running Light?

Pilot/Evening Light = the light which lights up when you twist once (turn on) at your car light/headlamp stalk.
The light bulbs are located within the Forte's headlamp housing, sharing the same area as your high beam bulbs.

Daytime Running Light (DRL) = LEDs. To the best of my knowledge, the diodes are not replaceable individually.

#1 it might due to the exhaust pipe vibration, i have the similar issue and when i press on the exhaust pipe (under rear passenger right side) with my shoe, the noise reduced.

#2 similar to mine. when slowing down at around 20km/hr, it jerk. Old Klang Rd SC trouble shoot and clean up the gearbox socket (which connected from ECU to gearbox), so far ok.

Something is wrong with my stock head unit, the screen always hang, cannot press. Anyone faced similar issue before?

Any recommended head unit to replace the stock HU?

Engine overheated a few times and just fix it with mechanic on thermostat and radiator. Didnt know how serious the cooling system was not cooling the car. Until found some traces of milky liquid at the cap of engine oil. And car hard to start. Had to do skimming. Lets see how much finally.

I guess we have to make sure the radiator is always using good mix of coolant and water. Once overheat. Stop at road side
