I have a friend who is working as an instructor in a dive shop in miri, looks very interesting. They have a few whale shark visits this year already.

Yup marine life is pretty good. Viz is ok. But not much difference compared to east coast peninsula

What kind of retractable cable/coil clip you guys use to attach the camera to BCD?
Can give some example/suggestions?

Im using this. Price Around RM 30-60 biggrin.gif a must equipment for newbie diver who bring down camera. thumbup.gif

Mares Smart. Easy to use. Decent colors (except the white will turn yellow). Last time MIDE selling RM9xx or so but then later change price to RM10xx. Still pretty reasonable if compared to Suunto ones.

But ohmaigod Suunto pastel color range is <3<3<3

I see lots on web selling, does the coil can tahan hang on after the clip bucket is release or need to clip back in the event of release the camera from hand?
1st time using this, worry about my camera tongue.gif

how heavy your camera? i have no issue using this coil..quiet tahan..no problems at all..bought at scubatexpro MIDE last3 years ago.. nod.gif
