rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  so funny.....

I wear full length wet suit to protect myself from exposure and most importantly jelly fish.... if water temp is warm then I use full length rash guard including long 'pants' .....
*
I wear at least 3mm wetsuit or my sharkskin now cause of that stupid triggerfish. Scared already.
If I didn't wear wetsuit, confirm one chunk of meat bitten off my thigh.

Hi Everyone!

Open waters newbie here! Actually I got my PADI license in April this year and after that I didn't had time to go for another diving trip...not only until last weekend, I went to Pulau Tenggol again....and the instructor was so good to quide me during the daytrips and after doing 6 dives....my bouyancy is perfect now. And I'm so into diving already! So, to continue diving, I really need to buy a mask, fins and a wet suit. Any recommendations?
*
Mask - for asian females (unless your nose very high like angmoh), I'd suggest to check with Tusa masks. But generally you need one that fits you well over everything else. Tusa has a wide range of masks and colors that can help females make decisions faster tongue.gif

Fins - I still love my seawing nova but there are many other fins, like the one you chosen Mares X stream, it's a good pair of fins. Short and light and easy to pack. A lot of females and males love it too. Plus it's reasonably priced as well.

Wetsuit - Too many to choose from. These days it's not only brands like Bare, Akona, Scubapro or Mares. There's also other kind of alternatives like Sharkskin, Frogskin, Fourth Element, Lavacore, Gull, etc. etc. A lot of brands available in the market now. Some are cheaper some are pricier. Some materials are different. Some are 2 pieces (note: a separate fleece top is super hard to remove when it's wet, not glamour at all) You'll need to go shop around.

If you've gotten your OW in April, should have gone for MIDE if you didn't. You'll get a wide range of products to touch, feel and be poisoned. Remember to keep your credit card and cash safe.

I choose my first pair of fins because it was red. But it was the first color to go off underwater hahahahaha.
I choose my first handphone also because of its color. Lol.
