Wow.. Congrats..
Means after got the chassis number only pay the downpayment?

I think before they register they will need you to pay first. Nanti registered but buyer don't pay then it will be a headache for them.

should be the steering column itself already..i didnt dismantle the ecu but hold firmly and knock around, noise is at minimal
*
You mean the shaft like thingy? I don't know how to dismantle that....

The Metal box is only a piece of PCB with few capacitors . The noise it makes doesn't sound like the rattling.

Turning the wheel didn't make any sound. Only when tap the steering wheel, or when climbing speeds. It somestimes didn't even produce it when going through rough roads.
The most annoying thing is, it occasionally make that. sometimes do, sometimes don't.

I found an image of the colummn thingy part.... even more confuse.

Where should i take for inspect ? Accessory shop or car repair shop?
Going through Toyota service center going to cost a bomb and time as well.. Would like to avoid that if possible.

Got a KL number VAV was extremely hot, had to opt for VAW. Sales person said he will register it tomorrow, probably some time to fix up things on Thursday and Friday. Got the sales person to include the T&G system for free so that needs to be fix too. biggrin.gif

you have to remove the cover (big circle, pic 1) located below your steering wheel (small circle, pic 1) to find the power steering computer assy (pic 2). The noise is from there.

FYI only.. good tires were compared for 17 inch and bigger rim..Considering PS 3, Hankook, Goodyear tire in future..

check the boot seal and the rear screen seal, possible leak from that point when downpour of rain.

Yes, thinking of PS3..Surveyed Hankook too..
the variance different between PS3 195/55/R15 and genuine CC5 185/60/R15 is marginal.
