Well..I'm interested to vios E spec, while comparing with City n Jazz as well..

depends what you prefer
toyota known for its reliability and
honda for its newer tech

imo opinion next month got sales for (manufactured 2017 units) and CNY sale/rebates

January? Recently my colleague get a E spec with rebate up to 9k, propably reduce from comm, not bad huh..i wonder rebate as advertise not giving that high..
if i purchase vios in 2018, it is consider 2017 or 2018 car

january usually is 2017 stock, check with SA at showroom

i think mine was 2500 raya rebate + FOC 4k accessories and a bit SA rebate

Consider newest Vios, GX .. if budget allows.
Many friends and relatives, "regret" later of not getting nicer high spec.

1. Better NVH, due to acoustic main windshield and front driver/passenger windows.

2. More efficient, effective and confidently to use BOTH front and rear brake DISC.

3. Nicer sport rim, speedometer and aerokit.

But for me only, the leather seat design color is ugly .. Safety>Exterior>interior

Yes, buy car within budget..

If in future got extra income, can gradually spend the expense and upgrade it.. thru ordering from Accessory shop or Service Centre.. New myvi already got good safety features, nice exterior and interior design..
