My second service at toyota taman midah, after the second found out the car performance different. The engine more responsive and pick up better. The down side is eco light off even light acceleration.
Anybody encounter this before?
Before this, i always drive with eco light on.

condition for eco light not to appear

1. D mode, gear kick down
2. D mode, rpm more than 3.5k
3. D mode, speed less than 5km/h
4. Other then D mode driving

my 3 week old vios has this krok..krok.. not very loud but can hear when slow accelerate, it appear when speed between 30 to 50 after that the sound will gone. especially when slow in junction then slowly accelerate again. Hard acceleration will not have this sound. Is this normal?

For me, usually i wipe surfaces with extra care by ownself using good 100% microfiber cloth also got light scratches..
apply waxing and problem rectify.. Seldom wipe dashboard, gear cover and steering.. I also Never send out Vios for car wash, except 1st 1000km service free wash by SC. Hmm..

I notice premium car wash shop may able to find solution for yr car gear cover scratches.. otherwise, leave it,  or get SC to get cover part number and price to change the cover only or dismantle the cover, spray another color??
so sorry, but continue asking for best fix from premium car wash or accs shop.

last weekend 1 tank (pump at duta toll) i manage holiday at cameron (tapah road up and simpang pulai down) and way back climb genting and pump at gotong jaya mileage about 500km

guys..just wanna if anyone here experiencing led drl not bright (2016 vios with oem drl). Usually the drl is bright and will dim if we switch on the head lamp (or t10 lamp). Now not bright as if i already switch on the headlamp.

Not really work that way. Their schedule as below:

0
1k    (1k first service)
5k    (5k service, 4k compared to previous)
10k  (10k service, 5k compared to previous)
20k  (20k service, 10k compared to previous)
30k

So, it's correct that you need to service for 3rd time at 8k milleage because you already hit 5k limit.

Because, your car may undermileage or overmileage depends on your usage.

For me, I'm going to have 50k service on December, but my mileage currently only 35k, sticker wise they put 39k. So if I say I hit 50k only service for 50k schedule, then I need to use my car for 21k already only can hit 50k since last service.

80% highway

This morning went to Toyota Service Midah centre for my 10k servicing. I quoted for Rm560 for servicing. They additional recommend flushing injector, draining engine and killing germ in cabin.
Lucky i got the standard service price to compare to know why there is an additional cost.

The standard cost is 369 only

So is it still advisable to clean first only repair the electronic parts? 

not sure, but for me, I visited and searched many tires shops, cannot find GX rim in town, city, online for 2 - 3 weeks..

Put deposit and order GX sport rim from Service Centre, within 3 - 4 business days, rim arrives at SC, immediately get it install and quick donated out 5months old original rim plus bring it to friend house, to be fitted on advanza car later..
Use back original 15inch tires and tire center cap..

New 2018 Myvi sport rim got DUAL tone paint and will be outshines Vios J, E and G with many safety features.new 2018 Accord skip 2.0cc, opt 2.4cc. All city /hrv spec come with nice rim..  wake up call for UMW Toyota, to reduce many specs, maintain good STD spec or better safety/accessories/aerokit + rim.. skip optional upgrade items..give it all..

Will poison your mind and influence/  ask yr nearby ACCS shop to order from mudah supplier and pay minimal labour cost to install..

Thinking about..

I found mine improve after 10k service. Think becoz of fully syn engine oil.
Easily reach 400km and above.

I unable to fold the rear seat for 2017 ViOs CVT. The seat is fixed position? Anyone can help?
