I remember only G spec or above only have DVD-AVN player especially for year 2018 which is free upgrade.
While below G spec, only available for DVD-AXN

care to teach how to mount? u mean require to buy hdmi cable to micro usb/usb type c/lightning port?
*
Avn still an optional. By the way, why bother with the car multimedia. You can't watch video while on motion. I mount using ipad bracket and stick to windscreen.

Car owners installed camera recording nowadays are for unforseen circumstances damage or viral arise.. Not like you mentioned using phone or driving slow at fast lane..

Since dvr camera is not expensive, it is worth to have?? Rather than incidents, accidents or anything may not have evidence at all..
Should encourage more car owners to have it..
*
Should encourage car maker to install as standard.

guys, for those who purchase their vios in 2017, how much is the sum insured when you renew your car insurance?

My spec is GX, and i was quoted quite low.
*
To renew you should expect depreciation on value.

As far I know, Toyota partner with MSIG insurance company. So the initial premium is also bought under MSIG company.

Mine one also going to 1 year soon. Going to renew road tax and insurance.

Just asking, currently my old car have the NCD of 45%, and the insurance policy is under my name, can I transfer the NCD to my next insurance renewal?
Because old policy company is Kurnia, while the new insurance company havent decided yet, not sure to continue with MSIG or opt out to Allianz, or Etiqa maybe??

Thank you.

Yes you can transfer and retain the same ncd value. Provided both car same owner. However, you have to top up premiun for previous car if the insurance not yet expired. Wisely, use ncd for the most sum insured.

You can either follow their valuation or you can specify your own. However, make sure they honour the amout. Better still, get the one that have agreed sum. With agreed sum, no matter if the car value drop so much, they have to pay in full amount. Nevertheless, insurance company won't agree to ridiculous amount..

If you want more discount. Never go to any insurance agency. Go direct to branch or hq. Better insight and reliable q&a. Most agency will handle multiple insurance companies and usually the front desk are merely clearks.

Get the brief info from website then straight to branch.

Kurnia is a no no. Had bad experience with them. They promised free towing within 60km but they failed to inform that 60km within the same sector. You will still be charged even less 10km but in different sector. Furthermore, not many towing service want to take job from kurnia.

If your bank can't approve you. Look for toyota capital, i can hook you to one. Even they are credit company, their interest is much lower, still can get below 4%. If you are a low risk, you might get below 3% .
