It is said to be 3.5 years above. Depends on maturity and size of the RTG. If I'm wrong plz correct me.THE AROWANA Ver. 2.0, The Immortal Dragon ~ !

Good to hear it is okay now c0c0. For the nan light, if you want to do side tanning, put it 1 inch below the water level. Otherwise you can put it at the top just like the normal light. |

I'm in a big dilemma. Should I go for an RTG or should I go for a Super Red. I like the Super Red but its expensive. I thought of going for the RTG because its cheaper but I heard from the LFS that RTG does not carry much value when its big incase I might want to sell it. So I need to know some answers from the sifus here before I make my decision.
1. If I buy an RTG and I want to sell it about 3 years later, how much can it fetch? (Considering its a perfect RTG) 2. If I buy a Super Red and I want to sell it about 3 years later, how much can it fetch? (Perfect Super Red) 3. What are the farms that are famous for quality aros. I might be getting my aro from Kim Kang farm. 4. Lastly, which fish is an easier fish to take care. The RTG or Super Red? Thanks in advance for your answers. |

RTG you buy say 600 3 years later you can easily dispose off at 1.5k, Red aro if say you buy at 2.5K when grow up and no color or light orange you can sell roughly 3k, unless you're lucky and get a beautiful red then it can fetch high price. Mind you less than 5% turn Red. If you must have a result then I vote RTG much easier to keep, Red more prone to skin disease that so far no one seem to be able to give a guarantee treatment. QUOTE(moorish @ Apr 23 2008, 10:49 AM) If you looking for the best potential return....ok no guarantee here Thanks for your reply moorish. I will go for the RTG then. You mention that you can get RTG from RM 600 - 700, so far the cheapest I found was RM 720 from Kim Kang farm. I have been to XLSA and their RTG there are very expensive. The one in Sea Park also quoted me RM 800 for RTG (after discount). Can you point me to a good place to get my aro with a reasonable price? I prefer a tagged aro.Go for reputable BYB XB.... RTG you buy say 600 3 years later you can easily dispose off at 1.5k, Red aro if say you buy at 2.5K when grow up and no color or light orange you can sell roughly 3k, unless you're lucky and get a beautiful red then it can fetch high price.
