QUOTE(fookinell @ Jun 13 2018, 11:50 PM) Hi all, Got my car today just in time for balik kampung trip, installed Android Auto (AA) on my phone and connect it to car, it works like a charm. However, when I launch AA, I only get Google Map but not Waze. I read that Waze can be used via AA. For those who have done it, would you be kind and let me know how to do it. Thanks. I am not interested in solution 2 as I do not want to void the warranty. Thanks anyway. Will keep on looking for the solution.

What do you think about the CRV door side step with LED? Honda dealer is selling the original side step with LED lighting for RM800+, and only the front side step lights up. The back side steps does not light up. I saw in mudah, accessories shops are selling similar OEM side step for only RM170, and all 4 LED will light up. But not sure about the quality of these 3rd party side steps. Has anyone installed these OEM/third party side steps? Is it good? https://www.mudah.my/Honda+crv+2017+2018+le...er-66545399.htmWhile it looks nice, I am also wondering if it will drain the battery if the car door is left opened for long period of time.

QUOTE(zaFrOoNaLdO @ Jun 5 2018, 03:04 PM) mine is 2015 CRV, default tyre size is 225/60R18. Any recommendation which tyre I should buy? currently is stock tyre, dunlop brand. I also find it hard to get size 225/60R18. Today I just replaced the Tyre for my 2013 year CRV, the tyre size is 225/60/R18 after searching for a while. Michelin Primacy - RM660 per pcs and RM2640 for 4 pcs (2018 tyre). Even the original Dunlop tyre still got 10-20% tread (+ can see some minor crack), as concerns on safety and decided replaced all 4 pcs. Not sure is worth it or not? The taukee told me that in future might difficult to get the 225/60/R18 tyre as most likely will replaced by 235/60/R18 in one day. What do you thinks?? What do you thinks?? i just checked with Hin Leong tyre in klang.. they said only CRV 2014 using 225/60/r18, thats why not much choice for this size. 225/60/r18 - Dunlop Sport Max 050 @ RM 465 (Japan, need special order) 235/60/r18 - - Toyo Open Country UT - RM 480 - B'stone Dueller HP D33 (Japan) - RM 725 - Conti LX2 - RM 495 - Micheline Primacy 3ST - RM 540

Did you experienced any rattling/vibration sound from rear side when the car goes on uneven road? Recently driven my parents 2014 CRV and realized that it is quite annoying. Thanks.

Recently driven my parents 2014 CRV and realized that it is quite annoying. Thanks. Is there anything at the back of your parents CRV? Sometimes is what we put inside the car that makes the sound. Like my wife put a Styrofoam box at the back of the cargo area for her to put fish when she goes to market, that thing squeaks as the car moves, pretty annoying but she asks me why I am so sensitive towards the sound

Highly suspect the rear seat. Will try to find out more. The problem is my parents do not even bother it Googled around and found many complaints due to rear seat from overseas forum. Wondering any our local CRV owners are facing this issue?

It's definitely a widespread issue that affects all variants. Dare I say, all batches too, and it appears Honda doesn't yet have a permanent solution to it. Tis only a matter of time till it breaks off. Also, should yours break off, most SCs do not have stock and will advise you to manage (read as suffer) it till parts arrive. Also, should yours break off, most SCs do not have stock and will advise you to manage (read as suffer) it till parts arrive. The gear knob/lever issue is real. I am still waiting for parts from Honda, out of stock since last month (May 2018). » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Daryl Tan: "I'm writing on behalf of 5k members of Honda CRV G5 Community Malaysia club. This is about the appaling and ridiculous major defect of broken gear knob of your all-new and supposedly high tech CR-V. A high percentage of our members reported this defect and more are reporting in every week. Despite Honda Malaysia acknowledged and being aware of this defect months ago, there is still no official recall, improved gear knob design or apology. Worse, when owners went to your service centres, most of them were told that there is no available stock. The owners were also being told to temporarily use pen or even their fingers to engage the gear while waiting for stock without any ETA. We are not being very demanding, but when we pay RM140k to RM170k we expect the car to at least perform reasonably normal. A broken gear knob is definitely not normal! We demand to know what is Honda Malaysia plan on this. Stop spending so much on TV ads during this World Cup and appreciate your current customers first! In this supposedly new Malaysia, it's about time car companies stop shortchanging us the consumers"
