Hi guys, for those of you who bought CRV and have kids, do you purchase the original running boards from Honda which cost 2.6K?

Went for another test drive today, looks like almost all showrooms are having the 1.5TCP, can't find the 2.0 test drive car yet. According to the SA, the waiting period is ~2 months, earliest to get the car is July. I think the waiting period could increase with the 0% GST and depending on which dealer as well.

For me I'm really in dilemma now as to choose CRV or not even though I like the design and specs of the CRV very much. This 1.5TCP test drive car is worse than the one I test drove earlier, the car is very noisy, the tyre noise is very obvious even at 60km/h, and step on the pedal give loud engine noise with no immediate response from the engine. Comfort is low with hard seats and vibration going over rough roads. Have a chat with the couples who test drove the same CRV before me and they have the same comments, they said they will most probably get the CX5 diesel instead.

Then gone to the next door to test the Subaru XV and Forester, immediate can feel the much better comfort and NVH.

legendary gear knob/lever falling apart issue

The gear knob/lever issue is hitting me too, just recently experienced this problem and need to get it fixed otherwise will be potentially hazardous - had difficulty to engage reverse suddenly!!!

Also had the same loose bumper reported by ramzi1508 here in February 2018, I experienced that on the day of vehicle delivery back in August 2017, service centre tried to fix the bumper gap at foglamp with clips sometime this year (2018) but upon driving home, it became loose again

I have e-mail Honda Malaysia and will wait for their feedback. Will share when I get the answer.

Honda Malaysia, finally responded as follow:

"Thank you for contacting Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

With regards to your request, it is not recommended to perform any installations, modifications or upgrades with NON-APPROVED accessories by authorized dealers or outside accessories shop, as any premature failure to the vehicle’s system units, the affected system units and its related parts will not be covered under warranty (warranty void)."

I guess I have to learn to love the rims then blink.gif

Hi Everyone. Just booked a TC-P Silver recently and sourcing for good tint.
Very limit idea on variety of tint brands in market. Just have a budget range which RM2000-2500 for the tint,
Any users here mind to share out your tint which within this range?
Thanks in advance.

Besides tint, we need a set of mat, a lock, any else? Seems not much go for coating and sound proofing.

if looking for customize coil mat, can check us out

the usual stuff we do for crv would be stuff like customize coil mat, pedal lock , plug n play side mirror autofolding module

some would go for the underseat woofer add on for audio wise

as for soundproofing, recently just did one full set flooring for new crv

did upload how it looks beneath your carpet , pic uploaded at our fb page smile.gif

mine is 2015 CRV, default tyre size is 225/60R18.

Any recommendation which tyre I should buy? currently is stock tyre, dunlop brand.

I also find it hard to get size 225/60R18.
