Today I just replaced the Tyre for my 2013 year CRV, the tyre size is 225/60/R18 after searching for a while.
Michelin Primacy - RM660 per pcs and RM2640 for 4 pcs (2018 tyre).

Even the original Dunlop tyre still got 10-20% tread (+ can see some minor crack), as concerns on safety and
decided replaced all 4 pcs. 

Not sure is worth it or not?  The taukee told me that in future might difficult to get the 225/60/R18  tyre as 
most likely will replaced by 235/60/R18 in one day. What do you thinks??

Is there anything at the back of your parents CRV? Sometimes is what we put inside the car that makes the sound.

Like my wife put a Styrofoam box at the back of the cargo area for her to put fish when she goes to market, that thing squeaks as the car moves, pretty annoying but she asks me why I am so sensitive towards the sound
