hey, i bought a LG time machine, which can do time shifting but does anybody knows that, should i use it all the time or just for particular special program only? i am not sure whether that will shorten the life span of the hdd..and can i do recording when the tv is in standby mode?

er... for astro and dvd, u stick with normal CRT better

If budget is a constraint and it's just for gaming, it should be ok as long as they provide warranty for it.

nice specs for that price (correct me if i'm wrong). i'm still searching for review. I also want to buy a widescreen tv for gaming purposes. but not budget. maybe this is the answer. most probably wait until end of year coz waiting for end of year sale. forza2 on widescreen...huhuhuhu. can't wait.
