The Jason Bourne Collection

On December 11th Universal Home Video will release The Jason Bourne Collection on DVD and HD-DVD.

The collection will include both previous Bourne films plus The Bourne Ultimatum for the first time. All three films will come housed in collectible 'Safe Deposit Box' packaging which will include a Jason Bourne passport. No disc specs have been released at this time but once we receive the final press release we will let you know!

malaysia is so slow in bringing in technology. look at japan and US, singapore, hong kong.

If I wan something on HD, I hav to import, why cant they setup factory here and export to Asean country.

why always we have to wait for technology to come to this country.

Bottom line is lack of market and our tendency to go pirate the first moment it's possible.

Been searching like mad for ori games on xbox 360.. other than GH, every other game shops only have pirated copies.. kinda frustrating actually... wan support ori, but no convenient way to get it.

Added on November 13, 2007, 11:13 pmAnother weird thing, most game shops have ori games for ps3.. maybe it's because of the fact that ps3 can't be hacked yet and ppl need ps3 games..

Malaysia is actually one of the countries manufacturing Bluray discs tongue.gif so technology is certainly here in the country.

Whether it is for consumer or not, thats a different argument.

The Bourne Trilogy is available for pre-order at amazon now. What is worrying is that the description and photo makes no mention of the "special packing" posted above. But good bundle price of US$50 for 3 hd-dvds.

Wow... what a good offer. But I already owned Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy, Bourne Ultimatum alone cost USD$27.95 cry.gif

The amazon pre-order isn't for the limited edition "safe deposit box" boxset. looks like it's just a specially-priced bundle of 3 separate hd-dvds.

Edit :-

The above was confirmed by amazon in response to my earlier email to them. this is now re-confirmed by universal themselves.

So, looks like there's NO box set for HD-DVD.

Added on November 19, 2007, 5:00 amBest Denki The Mines Shopping Fair is demoing HD E1, the Sharp BD and Sony BD player. The assistance manager also said that they imported Transformers HD DVD from amazon for sale tongue.gif

also - the 50in Pioneer 720p 7th Gen (non Kuro) Plasma is selling at RM14,999 picture quality wise - totally amazing - better than any 42in 1080p LCD tvs - maybe it was the source (standard definition Pioneer dvd player)

the price that i have been expecting:

it is now $199 at bhphotos - if you import one , you pay less than RM1300 (inclusive of courier fee and the 25% tax) - till your door step .. further more you get two free HD DVD titles in the box wink.gif
