Hi Guys,
What is the latest sop going offshore?
Quarantine 14 days before mob and 14days after demob?
If working freelance, will the company give allowance during quarantine? Thanks.

By buddies at Petronas, to minimize traveling movement, 14 days quarantine at Miri, then straight away 52 at offshore. Going back another 14 days quarantine at Miri b4 back to KL.

Start late last year, no more 14 days quarantine after demob from offshore, straight can go kl

Under sarawak & sabah shell, quarantine mandatory in miri/kota kinabalu for 14 days and swab test. this one covered by shell for their contractorx, this is for non-residence miri/KK.
For PFLNG, mandatory quarantine 10 days with 50% cost covered by client & 50% covered by contractor.
Petronas Sarawak imposed mandatory quarantine as well and swab test, but not sure if the cost by contractor/client.
For methanol plant in labuan which having turnaround at this moment imposing swab test every 14 days

Witnessed two downturns in the space of 6 years. It really break a lot of OnG folks

The world still needs energy from fossil fuel since it will be another generation or 2 for the so called renewable energy to fully replace fossil fuel as the source of energy.

Yes Im aware of that. But what does it take for OnG to go full boom like what happened in 2010s... it was certainly - lot easier to find job back then
