Thank you for all the replies, the opinions are very useful and i really appreciate it.
In term of gaining knowledge and experience, my senior told me CGG is best of the best in training and teaching fresh graduates like me. However, their staff already told me in advance that I'm not be able to use my geological knowledge if I am doing seismic processing as she said even physics and maths students can do the job. They do have a small seismic interpretation team but they told me they don't need people in the team.
I know that i can still change to offshore even after i work with CGG. But if i can't apply my geological knowledge in both companies, then i think i should choose Petra instead of CGG to gain the offshore experience and knowledge.
Btw, anyone heard of Subsurface Engineering Sdn Bhd before? I tried to google it but it didn't show any info about it

I remember attending this project revival briefing on 2017, but ayam very fish fish with their financing method. Entahlah liao, ayam is not have have kind of person.

I see.. thats the problem now..i heard that the way petronas manage contract is based on SWEC code.. only swec code registered company were invited to bid in the tender..it seems there is no way a small company can participate in the tender bidding..
