Thanks! I'm estimating these with 'middle-upper' spendings in mind, hence the slightly 'over-estimated' figures.

I think rent of GBP600 (incl. bills, and council tax) should be a realistic one.

For food, I think lunch will eat outside in some restaurants or pubs; dinner will be some home cook meal (thank god I can cook!) and some occasional restaurant meals. So, I think I will re-estimate it to GBP400.

Clothing is just an estimate that if I buy two pieces of clothing items per month. So, I think I will re-estimate it to GBP100.

Travel is an estimate with underground tube passes (assuming that I live in zone 6, and work in zone 1).

I am a fun guy who likes entertainment: movie, music, pup, clubbing... hence the GPB100 entertainment

Others is just some reserved fund for emergencies, but if untouched, will be accounted for as savings...
*
in that case, how much do u think u need to earn there to survive?

Heard from my friend that part-time job, can get around 7 pound per hour (This depend on area actually).

working 8 hours per day, 6 days per week, 4 weeks per month:

7 pound x 8 hour/day x 6 day/week x 4 week/month = 1344 pound.  shocking.gif  seems not enought

thats what i thought... and surely need a 2nd job to get 2000

1) i think i ask b4, should i bring my hp set over there and just get a sim card there?

2) is basic electronic like water boiler, rice cooker, iron costly there? if costly possible if i can bring in those?

3) and do u think i can take the cold weather when reach the airport if i dont have winter cloth since u guys said buy there is better...

4) and i plan to bring 1k pound cash instead of bank draft, advisable?

5) and lastly.. can i work 2 jobs with this visa? perhaps i want a job that doesnt deduct all the tax.... hehe..
