In a recent broadcast of Hide-chan Radio, an announcement was made on a new movie. The movie would be based on the MGS franchise, something most Snake fans will love to hear.

Today this announcement was confirmed by Hideo Kojima, a name that should sound quite familiar to most of the Metal Gear fans. He is the man behind the entire Metal Gear Solid series.

Now the question remains, will this movie be as much of a disaster as past movies based on games were, or will this one be a real block buster. We all remain in doubt but let's hope for the best!

The newest Famitsu has some information on Metal Gear Solid 4, it states:

・スネークの周囲に表示されたリングはソレットリングと呼ばれ、周囲の気配
脅威を視覚化したもの。しゃがみ状態やホフク状態で静止したときに表示され
周囲の索敵などに効果を発揮する
・"ソリッド・アイ"というアイテムを装備することで、ベースラインマップと呼ばれる
レーダーに切り替えが可能。これはスネークを中心に、周囲の気配を視覚化したもの
周囲が戦闘状態のときは、そのエリア全体の気配が高まっていくこともある

Weapon Features: You are able to customize weapons in MGS4, for instance, you can change the barrel of a M4A1 assault rifle and convert it into a shotgun style weapon.

As reported before, Metal Gear Solid 4 latest trailer will be available on the 20th at 10:00 am Tokyo time. But, turns out a Korean gaming site, Ruliweb found a way to film the new Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer during the Konami press conference. Enjoy the trailer.
